Wonderful 500 year old farmhouse with cute rooms which are decorated with great taste. The whole property is decorated with tasteful old items. The host is very friendly. The breakfast area was very nice and the breakfast itself very tasty.

The only thing I can think of is the parking options. It's a small village and the property hardly has any parking and the street is very narrow.

Heike, the landlady, turns what might seem a a fairly basic, traditional German gasthaus into an absolute joy. She was working her socks off, morning and evening; always there to look after her customers, with an infectious laugh that could probably be heard a couple of miles away in picture-perfect Dinkesbuhl. A totally memorable experience when you include visiting the next-door churchyard, with its quite unique and astonishing method of commemorating the dead.

Close the windows or pack earplugs if you are easily disturbed by church bells tolling at all hours!

We stayed 1 night on our way home from Italy. The hotel is quietly located. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff! We felt at home. Small hotel with an extensive breakfast. It was very clean in the rooms which is very pleasant.

We are used to dark bedrooms, that took some getting used to.

Fabulous, in a room of beautiful antiques. Off the street parking. The cemetary next door is one of a kind in Germany, very beautiful and unique. Be sure and ask about the exposed wall in their timber frame 1500th century home, the shows the construction used 500 years ago.

Nothing, it was perfect, I wish I had booked multiple nights. Good room, good bed, good greakfast at fair price, and a wonderful lady to talk about the history the area.

Wonderful! A really charming and Lovely place where you will feel like home. It’s comfy and cosy with beautiful décorations. The lovely owner Heike was helpful, kind and heartwelcoming. We recommand this place.

Location in small village. Old building full of rustic charm which might not suit everybody’s taste but we liked it. Very friendly, smiley hostess (Heike) full of laughter and appears to enjoy the business of hotelier both towards visitors and locals alike. Close to village church with its unique, historical cemetery. The guesthouse seems to be the heart of the community. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with the guesthouse’s Ruhetag which meant that a full menu was not available in the evenings. The limited menu (bar food) was acceptable for one night though.

everything was clean, the communication was wonderful, the breakfast was great and our dog joined us :) it was close to the Autobahn so the location was great for a stop on our way to Italy.

Used as overnight stop off on longer journey. Quiet, clean and friendly.

Little difficulty gaining entrance as arrival was earlier than normal opening time but nothing major

A totally different experience in the countryside 3 KMs from Dinkelsbuhl. Beautiful location, caring host, very pleasant bedroom and good breakfast.

Easily accessible by car but no public transport so a 10 or 12 euro taxi fare.

Hieke, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant and only 5 minutes from Dinkelsbuhl.
