Comfortable bed, crisp sheets, towels and linens in new condition. Spotless room. Really pleasantly surprised at the level of cleanliness and condition of property, bathroom fixtures, flooring, good shower, etc. considering it's age. Microwave and fridge. Fullsized coffee maker that brewed fast. All the touches.
We were sandwiched between hunters on either side of us, who were in the same party, and, after their successful hunt, were a little wound up and hung out outside their rooms until after midnight cooking out. I'm sure the adrenaline was still pumping, so we understood. We wondered why we weren't giving a room a down from them because, there seem to be vacancies, but you never know what management's reasoning was.

Comfortable, clean, room, although a bit expensive for the value and the location. We were greeted politely. The heater worked well on a chilly night. Note that if you arrive in summer, there is no air conditioning.
We would have liked a more reasonable price. We thought that Cimarron was a historic western town, but we found that there was little to see or do. Most of the few restaurants and shops were closed.

Location was fantastic. Easy walk to food locations. Needed a room to stay while visiting Philmont Scout Ranch, this was a perfect location.
The place is older and the rooms are small, but everything works and is very clean.

The location was perfect, and the bathroom facilities super--especially the new shower. We enjoyed the more relaxed feeling in this small town. The two fans in the room helped a great deal.
There was no air conditioning (probably not needed most days). We were traveling during record breaking heat with AC in the car that could not keep up and had been relying on AC to recover from the long days of driving. As noted, the two fans helped dissipate the heat.

The room was charming, comfortable and western-styled. Each room has a slightly different theme. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were plush and the hot water plentiful. More importantly the hospitality of the proprietor, Steven, was exceptional. We hit a deer just short of Cimarron and limped into Hiker’s Inn. Steven helped us access the damage and put us in touch with all the right folks who could help us. An added bonus is that the Hiker’s coffee shop, also run by Steven and his wife, is just across the street. Fabulous coffee and tea drinks, as well as yummy cinnamon rolls and other pastries.

Location is within walking distance to almost everything in town. Great for an overnight to get ready for a Philmont visit.
The room was clean and worked perfectly, but the parking is tight.

Close to Philmont, right on the main drag of Cimarron, historic. Super nice family owned too.
It’s a stretch to come up with something I didn’t like about Hikers Cimarron Inn. Closest thing to a negative is slightly cramped parking, but even that criticism is a stretch, as the place and family who owns is great. Rates better than the other hotel in town too.

We liked the small hometown out of the way old motel feeling. Clean and a good break from the driving.
Only thing was the noise. thin walls and with front entry you could hear and see everyone walking by no matter what time it was.

The bed sheets were crisp and smelled newly laundered. The mattress was comfortable and had a zipped mattress pad. It is an older motel but it’s clean with hot water. Owners are very nice and have a cute coffee shop.
Bathroom could use some updates but it was clean.

The room and the motel itself were super cute. The owner was very nice and we had no problems. We were warned about leaving food in the car so we brought everything in, and there was plenty of room for our things.
I don't have any big complaints. The room was fine and I slept well.
