This is a well run hostel right on the bustling Main Street of Bozeman. You are literally steps from all the bars and restaurants there, but since the hostel is in the basement, once you go back to your room it is quiet. The rooms are very basic and cozy. There is a library and a small communal kitchen and a good continental breakfast for you where you can hang out and talk to fellow travelers.

Well, we were in a road trip, and the free parking is a couple of blocks away on residential streets. There was plenty of parking, and we happened to get a parking spot near the hostel to unload and load our car. Really not a huge issue, and it worked out.

I make all my ratings based on previous hostel experience's. It’s a little more than opinion that this nightly accommodation is the most affordable value choice available, (second only to Walmart section Y, or the local’s shelters). It’s a pleasant bonus that the facilities, staff and location are thoughtful and convenient. It’s become my default sleep digs when walking to the nearby music Venues to watch some of America’s best music! Prove me right, Prove me wrong, but stay for an honest value.

We all think rooms can be bigger - yet all I need is the safe sleeping scenario. Then back to the Road.

The lady who checked us in the evening of July 19. 23 was super informative and nice. She offered some bottle of hers she had on hand, so I didn’t need to go elsewhere. So nice! The location was great! At the heart of downtown life, cute shops and good coffee shop and it was clean!!! Loved the private two bunk room.

The beds were not comfortable at all. I think they could do with a replacement of mattresses!!!!! I would give a higher rating if bed we’re comfortable Also, a bit noisy due to restaurant/bar upstairs. But I was super tired so didn’t bother me to much.

The best things about TSH are the location (which could not be better) and free breakfast. They have good lockers for personal items and plenty of common spaces, and a great shared kitchen (they are really on top of keeping the fridge clean by making sure food doesn't just pile up in there). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The people staying respect quiet hours, and I felt safe in Bozeman.

I mean, the beds aren't the comfiest, and staying in a hostel will never be the most luxurious travel experience. I did stay in a room with just guys - so if you aren't comfortable with that, consider a private room or traveling with another person.

1. It had a common/shared bathroom for all rooms. I was expecting a shared bathroom inside the room between the rooms. 2. Regarding the late checking fees weren't mentioned in booking.com.

The staff was fantastic and friendly very knowledgeable. When I walked in she was cleaning and let me put my bags away before I checked in made me feel like I was home. When I checked in the two staff members carried all my bags to my room like a five star hotel. The people staying at the hostel were very friendly and there is every thing you need in walking distance worth the money

Old-fashioned style hostel with large common areas, study area/library, and well-equipped kitchen with lots of free food and large fridges. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff upon check-in. Great location right in the middle of downtown. Free parking around the corner.

Very thin walls that allowed you to hear your neighbors' conversations in detail even in a private room. No window in room, and beds were not the comfiest. One of the two showers in the women's restroom was out of order.

The location was perfect. Everything I needed was within walking distance. The selection of shops, restaurants, bars and distilleries was so far beyond what I expected.

I think for the price, the value and location far exceeded what I expected.

Location was great, right in the middle of all the action. Had everything you needed, wifi, microwave, frig, laundry, tv room, beds had their own outlet and light. Friendly staff. Clean accommodations.

The pillow was extremely thin and as a result I had a back ache the whole day. Upstairs is a restaurant which started moving furniture around on the wood floors above my room at 6:30am. Also they charge a $10 fee for anyone who checks in after 10pm which isn’t posted anywhere.

Everything! I have stayed in otther Hostles and none of them compare to this one. Super friendly staff, very clean, excellent location and you can't beat the price.
