We were well looked after by Tammi on reception and Carlos the breakfast chef. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and great bathtub.

Disappointed to find that there was no wine available for the daily cheese and wine as advertised on the hotel’s own website. We were very annoyed with someone (not a guest) turning up c5.50am each morning and leaving the engine running underneath our window, not in a parking space, and revving the engine and zooming off. We complained on the 2nd morning at 5.55am but no apology or explanation was offered at the time or later.

The staff was friendly, the place was charming and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and the house was quiet even though it's on the main road.

The problems are small and might not bother everybody - There was an AC and a ceiling fan in the room which was nice and cool, however, both were noisy. The curtains did not cover the enitre window and there was light in the room - which might not be a problem for everyone but for me, together with the noisy AC, did not allow a good sleep. Overall the facilities were great and the staff was kind, which made the whole experience positive.

Absolutely stunning charming accommodation, full of character. I am so glad we chose the Hound Tooth In over the commercial options. we had the King room, which was spacious and the fireplace was so warm and romantic.The complimentary beverages and reception in the evening was just cherry on the top of the cake. The staff was amazing too. Cannot recommend more.

So much character. Well kept inside and out. No spider webs under outside furniture, plenty of charming exterior lighting. So many places to take pictures with the beautiful scenery. Very spacious rooms. The room and property felt very private and exclusive. The dining area had great aesthetic and offered an assortment of complementary muffins, coffee, waters, and sodas. The parking lot offers a few charging stations.

The limited parking and unmarked parking spots were a bit confusing when getting back late and all of the spaces were full. The driveway down to the property is beautiful, but then it turns into crushed rock and vague parking spaces. 

The property was clean and beautiful. The room was comfortable and our room was kept very cool. Breakfast was great. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. It was a quiet environment!

There was no elevator and that was the only drawback. We are pushing 70 and hubby has a heart condition. I have a problem walking. However, we plan to make another visit but will make sure we get a room on 1st floor.

The location was perfect for visiting Yosemite, but wanting staying outside of the park. Stores and restaurants are just a short drive from the hotel. We truly enjoyed the quiet, peaceful and non-chain atmosphere of Hounds Tooth. Delicious custom-made breakfast as well!

The coffee machine in the room didn’t work, but coffee was available in the reception area.

The property was very nice and clean. The staff was exceptionally wonderful! The breakfast’s was surprisingly marvelous. The evening offering of goodies was awesome.

The bathroom didn’t have enough sink space or other sturdy space to put toiletries or makeup during our stay. The bathroom was small and not enough space for the door to easily open and close. The bathroom door sticks, so doesn’t open and close easily.

WOW WOW WOW we loved our stay here, all the staff were so wonderful and friendly! The Inn is only 20 minutes from the South Gate so super easy to get to/from. We were so well looked after, from snacks and sods always at the ready in the reception, to wonderful fresh muffins and breakfast. Our room was so lovely to arrive home to after a long day in the park and had plenty of space too.

Nothing, it was absolutely perfect!

This is a quaint b-n-b with a friendly staff. The evening reception was comfortable and the staff joined the guests for conversation. Breakfast offered a plethora of choices. Our room was very clean and comfortable including a spa tub with bath oils. The stay was quiet and we own an electric car and there were chargers available for use on site which was excellent and a time saver.

There are no elevators so if you have accessibility issues make sure to request a ground floor room.

Great accommodation at a fair price. Excellent, friendly staff and a good location for entry into Yosemite and surrounding attractions. Breakfast was among the best, and evening welcome snacks and drinks a nice touch. Cosy, classy little hotel with ev charging on site
