One of our favourite stays in Thailand. The best part was the friendliness of Red and the amazing food of his wife. After traveling to several hotels after we can really say the breakfast here was the best, they even gave us some Thai treats every day! Even if the place is a bit far from the beach (you need a motorbike for sure) it’s located in a well maintained natural terrain which we really loved. We really loved having the chance to eat dinner in their restaurant, everything was so so good. Would love to come back!

Just to keep in mind everyday at 5am the mosque makes its call to pray on loud speakers.

This was a perfect location for us. We were looking fo somewhere less than ten minutes on a scooter from a town and beach but in a quiet rural setting. We chose well, the grounds are beautiful, we looked out onto lush greenery, saw monkeys and listened to bird call every morning before breakfast. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, it’s fantastic value for money. We ate there quite a few nights too as the food was great. Red is an exceptional host and nothing is too much trouble. We highly recommend.

Location location location - great to be away of the madness that has come over Koh Lanta since Covid. But at Lanta Para hut you still hear only nature. Also a exceptional great host, so friendly, genuinly interested in his guests. Restaurant serves a very good breakfast and lovely dinner, all freshly cooked. Allthough for the true Thai experience I also liked Janooch Thai Local restautant just down the road very (!) much. Comfortable huts, nice beds, good shower, nice to be able to turn on aircon for an hour before sleeping … I enjoyed my stay very much.

Nothing - except maybe serving ‘real’ coffee, then it would be truly perfect.

This was my second time staying at Lanta Para Hut, and I will definitely be back again in the future. Red is a fantastic host, he is friendly & funny and helps you to sort out anything you need, with no hassle! (He helped us to sort out scooters, boats, and taxis). He is very personable and makes you feel right at home! We enjoyed chatting with him! His wife is a fantastic cook, they are a great team! The bungalows are very comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well to keep us cool. The shower had warm water and the balcony was great for relaxing on after a long day! The location of Lanta Para Hut is in my opinion perfect, as you are in the middle of the island, so can easily reach the south, or the north. We will definitely stay in Lanta Para Hut in the future, thank you red and see you next time ! :)

There was nothing bad about Lanta Para Hut, and I would recommend staying here on your trip to Koh Lanta!

The location is amazing, just in the middle of the forest but also not far (by moto) from the hustle and battle. You can get there in 10 min. The location is really peaceful and one can really disconnect and relax. The breakfast and dinner options are super and at very good prices (we had breakfast and dinner every day because we really liked it). Scooters can be rented at the spot.

I missed a bedside table with lamp. Also this white strong light is not nice but still the place is so nice that you don't really mind. It's just a suggestion.

Super friendly owner, it seems to be family owned. The breakfast was really tasty, couldn't resist those big pancakes and fruits. You can rent a scooter right there for 200 Baht per day, so no need to worry about the location. Everything clean and in good conditions. Pretty much in the middle of the island, so you can go anywhere with the scooter. Basically in the nature, that's really cool, we liked it's lot here, especially also because of the owner.

Scooters could be in slightly better conditions.

If you prefer a quieter stay away from the tourist buzz, then this is a great option. It’s just a 10-minute bike ride to nearest beach and attractions. The owner is a very chilled and friendly man with a good sense of humour and is quick to attend to any issues. His wife will also cook you up a good meal.

Not a negative thing really, but expect ants, mosquitoes and the odd spider in your bungalow. Just be prepared and bring bug repellent, otherwise call Red to rescue you.

It was so nice, bungalow is big and cute The staff is so friendly, professional and helpful. Mattress is very comfy, bathroom clean and just what you need Aircon works well and there is a fan is you prefer it. Food is delicious You can rent a scooter directly from there Location is perfect to be near everything but I a quiet environnement Really enjoyed my stay there

A little bit of insects manage to come inside the room but not really a problem as it was mainly butterflies

Best accomodation I have stayed at during our travels through Southeast Asia, maybe even in all my travels. Red, the owner, is a kind hearted and super helpful man. His wife cooks delicious food at their local, friendly priced restaurant. The huts are situated amidst forested hills, away from the busier resorts and beaches. It’s stunning and quiet. The huts are comfortable, super clean, and well maintained. Highly recommended!

We wanted to stay longer, but had to resume our travels. Be warned: you’ll stay longer than planned.

Useful to have a motorbike for travel but lovely quiet road once off the main drag so easy to ride Owners lovely. Food amazing and fantastic value. Very quiet and peaceful. Great for reading or escaping. Spotlessly clean, neat and tidy. Fridge n room for chilling your own drinks.

Nothing. The owner works tirelessly to maintain his little piece of Eden. My partner found the jungle noises kept him awake but that’s part of being amongst nature
