Château Meyre is a wonderfully romantic and peaceful destination. The atmosphere is serene, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a great shower. Breakfast is fresh and tasty — make sure to ask for eggs cooked to your preference, as they’re available upon request. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming and quiet retreat in the region!

One small downside: our room faced the pool and was close to the road. While it’s quiet at night with the windows closed, it can be a bit noisy if you prefer to sleep with the windows open and enjoy fresh air.

We loved our stay in Chateau Meyre! It is perfectly maintained and updated where needed. The room was very spacious, modernly designed without loosing its authentic touch. It was also very noice isolated which its important considering that it is an old building. The breakfast was adequately priced. They also offered free coffee, tea, and biscuits throughout the day, which is a perk well received. The pool was clean and great to have during the summer time. We enjoyed reading in the gardens and shrewd library space. Their wine is also top of the line in the area (I wish we had space fire a case in our trip) Finally, the staff (specially Luis) was very friendly, accommodating, and kept everything running.

You have to plan your meals carefully. Breakfast there is no problem but the bite does not run a restaurant (although you can order some cheese and charcuterie with 24hrs notice), and the closes town has few restaurants. Also, the staff is taking care of the guests in the chateau so if you call they might not answer immediately. Be patient, they will call you back if you leave a message as soon as they are done with the onsite guests.

Stunning property, beautiful grounds, comfortable clean rooms and a lovely pool area. The charcuterie board and wine were fabulous.

The local area is very disappointing. There were no dining venues open within 15 minutes drive on Saturday when we arrived. We really missed having food available at the property. It was difficult with children to have to drive so far for food. We would have loved to have eaten on the grounds.

Very friendly staff, polite and concerned with the well-being of guests. Charming facility, very clean and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast. If you have the opportunity, I recommend a light meal, a generous sausage and cheese board and of course accompanied by wine. Lovers of walking and running in nature, bring sneakers. Very beautiful places, starting with the property's vineyards and a forest in the neighborhood. This location is perfect as a starting point for exploring the region and visiting the Chateau's in the area. I thank the staff who welcomed us, we will definitely be back!

everything was perfect

Chateau Meyre is a charming place to stay for a couple of nights. The room in the annex was comfortable and the gardens are lovely to relax in. The breakfast in the chateau is good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For evening meals the staff puts together a nice salad or snack. It is a good starting point for a tour around the Medoc.

If nobody in your group speaks English and can translate, the tour and explanations could be a bit disappointing, as the very friendly guide did not communicate comfortably in English. If you want to have a real dinner, you really need to drive somewhere else.

Breakfast in the lovely Chateau was excellent. We also enjoyed the garden and, had it not been for the rain would have enjoyed the pool too! Interesting to taste the wines produced there - with more time I would have visited the cellars too. The Margaux was my favorite.

Its a drive to a decent restaurant, but there are many about. The internal window between our lovely room and bathroom could benefit from a 'privacy' curtain.

As no dinner provided at the hotel and village nearby didn’t have much in way of shops you need to drive to eat. On the Monday evening not even the local pizza delivery was open , nearest restaurant 23km away. It was also a bit chaotic when we arrived, I thought I had booked a tour but actually none were available throughout our whole 3 day stay. A free wine tasting of 2 wines is available though as a resident. The bathroom was not well ventilated so wet towels etc did not dry and so a bit smelly. These might not be issues in high season, and on the whole it is a lovely peaceful place.

A really gorgeous chateau with super friendly staff. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with nice facilities. We loved being able to roam around the vineyards and the grounds. Breakfast was very filling and so fresh. The team put on a wine tour, tasting and charcuterie platter for us which was absolutely delightful to enjoy in the gardens. The team were also very helpful with making us reservations at local restaurants and taxi bookings. Both places were absolutely delicious. The pool was great as well and I wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved everything about this place! Beautiful property, a historical building, beautiful gardens, great pool and comfortable rooms! Service was great, breakfast was delicious and the wine was excellent! We would like to come back again in the future

Nothing to say, We loved it!

Free parking. spacious, recently renovated and clean rooms each with its own personality (and colour on walls). Staff super friendly and welcoming from the moment of check in - the lady even helped carry the baggage to the room upstairs. She provided sheets for restaurants and châteaux around the area. We had booked the wine tour & tasting accompanied with the platter which I recommend. The pool is also great, and you can order their wines and cheese platters throughout the day The breakfast is comprehensive, you can order eggs as well.
