It is a bit hard to give an honest review as we stayed just one night there. But from what we've seen, the hotel seems awesome. We stayed on the third floor. Turns out every floor has its own concept, and the rooms on the 3rd are all furnished in Asian style. I added a photo from the elevator with all the different styles and floors, so that You can ask for Your priority if You decide to book this hotel. Room was clean, with good lighting, and actually we would have loved to stay there for more nights than just one.
Pool water was not heated, but that was just a minor thing in summer.

Very close to the tram and airport.
Very poor lighting in the room, I mean it was dark, mood lighting. Service at front desk was very slow. Service at the bar was very slow. It's an airport hotel so it should be operating accordingly. People are on different time schedules at an airport. They may need a meal before 7pm. There seemed to be only two people working, one in reception and one at the bar. People walked out of the hotel because they couldn't get a meal at 6pm. A guy asked me to tell the barman that he would be back to pay for his drink because the barman disappeared (I suspect to place a bar meal order or prepare the order) and he couldn't wait any longer as he had to get to a Zoom meeting.

We enjoyed the comfortable bed and quality cotton bedding in our spacious well-lit “Privelege” room. Important to us was the large window that could be opened fully. Sound insulation was very good and we liked the fact that there were 2 doors between the bedroom and the loo. There was a good selection of coffee and tea in the room, as well as fruit juice and water in the fridge. We did have to ask for milk for the fridge in our room, and it was given to us by the bar staff in a little teapot, but it was good fresh milk. Breakfast was delicious with a very good range of excellent produce. All of the staff were excellent, professional and friendly except …
one of the people working at reception seemed to emanate an unsmiling hostility towards all guests, which was rather disconcerting. The bath aspects of the bathroom could do with updating and refreshment in that the bath plug didn’t seal properly, so the bath slowly emptied as one lay in it, and the grout around the tiles and bath and sink fittings was grimy in some parts and unfinished in others. These defects were only noticeable when one sat in the bath.

If you search booking dot com for hotels local to Bordeaux airport, you get a variety. Some cheap and cheerful, others like the Mercure. It is not the cheapest place around and not the absolute closest to the Caroline Aigle tram stop - the photo with the tram and hotel in the same shot is taken from up the road, not at the tram stop. However, the quality is outstanding. Good staff on arrival, great room with the air conditioning doing a sterling job against the heat and humidity outside. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well apart from the thunderstorm and rain, hardly surprising that day. Breakfast is a good spread, plenty of choices of hot and cold food. All the pastries and bread you would want. My only regret was that I was pushed for time otherwise I would have had a leisurely and bigger breakfast. Next time I hope. In summary, you won't find this place cheap. But you are definitely getting your money's worth.
I cannot think of anything that I could write in this section. There was nothing that I didn't like. Believe me, I am not shy when giving my reviews on here but in this case, nothing to say in this box. There. I have written enough to satisfy the character count in this box!

The hotel is MUCH nicer than the photos led me to believe. We'd gladly stay there again. Also, their description sounded like there was a high probability of getting a full-size bed - our bed was large ! This the the second 4-star hotel I've stayed in and now appreciate the quality. We stayed there due to it's proximity to the airport - easy walking distance, but we took the shuttle for our morning flight. One the prior day, we checked in and took the tram back into the city center. After walking a lot of the city, we decided that the hotel's restaurant was a good place for supper and went back there to eat. Also, they have one of the best breakfasts we've ever had in Europe. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was large enough that it was easy for us to re-pack our carry-ons for the departure flight. They have a good looking outdoor dining area but it was too cool for us to try it. Also, my wife appreciated their plantings, indoor and outdoor.

Rooms were spacious & comfortable, bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was good. Staff very friendly & attentive. Nice deco: each floor represents a different continent !
I walked from the airport to the hotel - normally about 15 mins - unfortunately, at one point, there is no walkway, just a bike path. I took a taxi the next morning to the airport, just wanted to mention for those who prefer to walk. I wish the hotel had let me know.

Location, cleanliness and general ambiance. The shuttle service to the airport is free and efficient. Breakfast was good but expensive.
Horrified that only paper cups offered in the room!!! Not only is this not good for the environment it lowered the enjoyment level of the room: drinks taste different out of a paper cup, they squeeze when you hold them and generally makes you feel that you are in a low budget cafe. No drinking water on offer in the room and no glasses. This is NOT what you expect in a 4 star hotel.

Was there with 2 friends who, because I had recent surgery, travelled 2 hours to collect me after my flight to Bordeaux .As it was evening we decided to stay overnight in your hotel so that my friend didn't have to drive back immediately, The staff were excellent, helpful and accommodating, Evening meal and service was excellent as was breakfast and the staff then too.
Nothing except....it was a very windy stormy night and my friends in room 303 hardly slept as the wind made a loud whistling noise most of the night. There was a very draughty space between the window and the frame. I did tell the reception gentleman at the desk and he recorded the information and said it would be looked at....and I have every confidence he did just that. As I was treating my friends for their kindness in collecting me to save me issues travelling via tram and train after the recent surgery, it was me who notified the member of staff re the 'whistling' issue.

The hotel is the best one for the airport, in our opinion. There’s also a tram stop by the hotel which is handy for visiting Bordeaux. The “Privelege” room number 308 was very good and quiet, with a comfortable bed, quality cotton bedding, a fully opening window, good sound proofing, two doors between the bedroom and the loo, a fridge and facilities for makimg hot drinks in the room, and plenty of lighting. The staff were all excellent, friendly and professional in the hotel and in the restaurant. Breakfast is excellent with a great range of quality produce. We also had a simple but good supper. There is a handy shuttle from the hotel to the airport at some times, with the alternative of the tram which stops near the hotel. We had to ask for milk for the fridge in our room and were give it promptly in a mug. This hotel has a very good ambience thanks to the staff and the decor.
Some of the lights in the room didn’t seem to work at first. When we arrived the room smelled of some kind of disagreeable cleaning spray, whereas on our previous stay a week earlier (in room 208 not 308) there was no unpleasant smell. The spring to the main door to the room is much too strong, so the door slams loudly, which did not happen upon entering and leaving room 208. The bathroom could do with updating generally, and the grout was a bit grimy in places, but the water was hot and plentiful. The Shuttle from hotel to airport only ran on some days and times of day.

Staff were friendly and welcoming even thought we arrived past midnight - rooms were lovely and just what we needed for a good night's sleep. Being able to leave our luggage while we had a quick visit into Bordeaux and then wait in comfort while my husband collected the hire car made me wish we had got more time in the hotel the night before as we'd planned!
