There is much to love about Vera Playa and much to be desired. First, it’s a gem simply because it’s a rare naturist resort - the world is lacking in that option. All body types and relationships will feel welcome & safe. Their pool facility and pool scape is absolutely wonderful - the copious palms offer respite from the sunny, hot days. Competition for the best loungers is fierce (get up early & claim one). It’s a Senator Hotel but is not really 4 star. The rooms are in dire need of renovation & buildings are in need of some repair and freshening up. Tired is the best word. I didn’t find their lunch fare very good this trip (my third in seven years) - kitchen seemed subpar. Breakfast on the beach in the main facility was very good. Enough variety to not to get bored. I didn’t book the dinner inclusive - plenty of great places to eat right out the door or within a 15 min walk. Hotel staff are courteous and competent. While my heart is attached to Vera Playa Hotel I’m a little tired of their ‘tired’.

I had an issue with my arrival time at the hotel, spoke to one of the receptionists whom was understanding and freed me from any worries right away. Friendliness and professionalism each and every time I interacted with the front desk. I confirm that comments made by previous guests here relating to the hotel being a bit dated are true but for me the property had everything I was looking for, for a complete switch off from the hectic, busy everyday life. My room was big, comfortable and clean (I even had a patio with a sunbed, umbrella, etc). The pool area is one of the nicest I ever seen also with direct access to the beautiful beach. Hats off to the amazing entertainment team who go above and beyond to make your stay more enjoyable and fun. Breakfast and dinner buffets had plenty of variety and of good quality. I recommend this property and Vera Playa for anyone looking for a relaxed stay, to rest, recharge and forget about everything else.

Nothing I didn't like but it would have been brilliant to have coffee making facilities in the room.

In spite of sign, no reservation of sun loungers with towels NOT enforced. From early morning nearly every pool lounger had towels ( obviously placed there the previous evening). Lack of chairs in the pool area - at 75 sometimes i just need to sit down and read rather than lie down. Also No enforcement of obligatory nudity in pool area evident.

Being able to be naked all the time without strange looks. Very friendly staff always helpful but kept distance and not intrusive. Room was always cleaned spotless each day with clean bedding/towels only when needed. Outdoor pool large with different depths to suit all with plenty of games orginised each day by entertainment staff who joined in with the lifestyle. Only had breakfast in the resturant but good value with plenty of choice to suit all diets. Very good large bath,room enough for a party!

Rooms need to be updated with more power points including USB points for modern life.

The hotel is directly at the naturist beach and has also a nice courtyard with pool, nice palm trees giving natural shade, and some other outdoor activities e.g. chess, petanque and minigolf. Many offers as animation program (great animation team!) with English and Spanish moderation, e.g. aqua volley or mölkky tournament, archery, water aerobics, evening music program... Free parking places at the street near the entrance.

There were lot of mosquitoes in the room, no mosquito net at the window. Air-conditioning did not help, as they were already inside and I always woke up because of them. Furniture/interior is already a bit old. Breakfast could offer more fresh vegetables.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The animation team were excellent - we don’t really join in but we enjoyed watching other folk. It was my husbands b’day while we were there and, although I hadn’t mentioned that fact, a bottle of cava on ice appeared in our room on his birthday. Such a kind thought.

The rooms, although spotless and very comfortable, could probably do with a bit of a refresh. However, this in no way changed the quality of our experience so ‘didn’t like’ is too strong a sentiment. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A quite old hotel for this area, well kept, with good facilities. The reception area and elevators are impressive. Unlike many hotels these days it was very well staffed with great service. A particular mention to Diego and Sonya at the Carib Bar and to Diego and others in the animation team all of whom were very friendly competent and professional.

Taxi via booking.com never showed up, very disappointed. Still trying to get refunded.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, it really was the relaxing break we had hoped. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient, they all worked together to make the stay a real pleasure. The rooms and all areas were kept spotlessly clean, superb place for a break. The beach is just in front of the hotel and is kept nice and clean. The guests seem to respect the whole establishment and beach areas, which I found very refreshing. The hotel and beach are very well managed.
