Our stay at The Olivar Boutique Hotel in Mojácar was absolutely wonderful. The owners were incredibly accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, charming, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning, we enjoyed a good breakfast in a quaint setting that perfectly matched the hotel’s peaceful vibe. The cleaner was great—thorough and friendly—and helped keep everything spotless. The views from the hotel were simply stunning, and the location was fabulous, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and local charm.

The shower could have used a little bleach to remove some stains though the shower itself was fabulous.

Amazing location with stunning views. Hosts Alberto & Miki were so helpful and friendly. Really made us feel welcome. The room was spotless with mini fridge , kettle tea/coffee. Pleasant outlook over village square . Terrace and roof terrace were well laid out again with stunning open views. Having breakfast on the terrace was very special with large selection of choices. Nothing was to much trouble. Didn’t use it but great choice of drinks at the honesty bar and good prices. Quiet nights sleep and bed very comfy. Air con appreciated as 38! Will definitely be going back!! Thank you both

The location is fabulous. And the views from the terrace for breakfast are outstanding. The fresh breakfast is lovely and the homemade marmalade absolutely delicious! The honesty bar is a lovely touch. Alberto and miki are friendly and helpful

Unfortunately the old building (which is beautiful) has noisy plumbing. We could hear showering from other guests. For us it was just too noisy. We were moved straight away once we mentioned it and this did help. I'm sure nothing can be done about this and perhaps we were just noise sensitive. Perhaps the balcony rooms wouldn't have this problem. But we still enjoyed our stay, it's just something to be aware of.

Charming boutique hotel. Great communication and most welcoming hosts, Miki and Alfonso made us very comfortable. The breakfast service was really good with freshly baked croissant, eggs, tostadas, cereals, fruit juice beverages etc and the honesty bar a nice touch. They gave good directions and recommendations of places to eat and visit in Mojacar. Unfortunately we visited during the electricity cut that effected the whole of Spain, but they kept us all up to date with what was happening. The double ensuite room was clean and comfortable with a balcony and views over the mountains. Would definitely recommend.

Delightful hotel in a fabulous location. Had a room with a balcony overlooking the square which had everything we needed. Toiletries and coffee/tea provided. Breakfast fabulous, a great choice. Views from the terrace were just gorgeous. The honesty bar was a great touch too. A very relaxing stay. Thank you Alberto & Miki for making us so welcome at your lovely hotel. Hopefully we will return again soon.

Not a problem, but possibly better blackout curtains or blinds as the square was still well lit overnight.

We had a very nice two day stay at the lovely Boutique Hotel El Oliver, a quaint and well run, family owned boutique hotel in old town Mojacar, with it's cobblestone streets and old town charm. The hotel owners (Alberto and Miki) are a delightful, hard-working young couple who clearly take pride in providing their guests a comfortable stay. The personalized rooftop breakfast was delicious, with poached eggs, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as many other options. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Our room had a balcony and, additionally, there is a rooftop patio with great views and an "honesty" bar. The location within the old town was perfect with easy access to the many restaurants and shops. For those who struggle with being at the beach or in quaint "old town", not to worry, as beach access is a pleasant 20 minute downhill walk OR you can catch the local bus for just over a Euro. My wife and I are in our 70's and the walk to the beach was an easy, pleasant walk and there are three buses per hour to return to old town. We arrived on motorcycles and were provided secure, underground parking under the hotel for a nominal charge. We will definitely return to Hotel El Oliver, next time we are visiting the area.

Excellent location right in the heart of the pueblo. The most welcoming hosts in a beautiful boutique hotel. Spotlessly clean, every attention to detail thought of. Room with balcony overlooking square. Fresh fruit, freshly baked bread & croissants, homemade jam & freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast served on terrace overlooking the most amazing views. Air con in room superb, comfy bed & pillows, slept so well. We had the most amazing stay & will definately be back, cannot recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely nothing.

Fantastic to see a young couple delivering such a personalised experience. From artistic touches to what must rank as one of the most complete, quality personalised breakfasts, this deserves far more than the 3 stars of its rating. The rooftop terrace is private and an excellent spot to appreciate the views or to sunbathe. Breakfast in the breakfast room is a calming, relaxed experience. Lovely !

Be careful of the stairs going down inside the property but perfectly understandable given it is built on a mountainside. A few non-Sapnish TV stations, even of a news channel, would have been welcome

Very lovely hosts, knowledgeable and super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Hotel is well equipped for it's size and modern. The services offered are well thought out and useful. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. The views from our balcony were outstanding. There is an honesty bar so help yourself and be honest and pay for what you use. A lovely roof terrace with a shower and lounging facilities. There is no lift but there are accessible rooms on the ground floor. Secure underground parking is extra but very useful. The hotel is well located to access everything in the town easily. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Nothing haha everything was really amazing

Lovely location in the middle of a beautiful Andalusian town. Within walking distance of everything in the town. I was not feeling well and the staff prepared a wonderful breakfast tray so my friend could bring it to the room. They also allowed us to check out later so I could get more rest. Their kindness and concern was very appreciated!

Nothing, very charming. The town itself is hilly and to get to the property you do have to climb a little, but it is well worth it!
