Place basically without any minuses. Beautifully located super equipped apartment, delicious fresh breakfasts, wifi, beautiful swimming pool with ideal water temperature during hot weather. Lovely owner who cares about the comfort of guests, at the beginning of our stay we also got a list with places where there is good food and he was helpful when it comes to what is worth visiting in the area. You can say that we felt at home! We highly recommend and thank you once again Patrick for a wonderful and relaxing stay :) We for sure will come back!

Everything was perfect

We had an amazing time at Casabah. We've been going to Carboneras for many years and absolutely love this charming little village. We had stayed in Casabah in the past and the change in ownership did not make our experience any less amazing. Patrick and Anne are very welcoming and accommodating. They had great recommendations for restaurants and were helpful in all possible ways. We will definitely go back and stay with them when we return to Carboneras. The breakfast was delicious (especially the home made jams and local fruits).

The property itself was lovey and in a quiet setting. The Breakfast was wonderful as it was very varied and the infinity pool was fabulous. The 2 hosts - Patrick and Anna were very welcoming and great to have a chat to. They supplied a nice list of restaurants to go to in Carboneras area and around.

I like hard beds - so a slightly harder mattress would have been great but understand that everyone has their own personal taste in mattresses!

Everything was just perfect. The pool, the views and the amazing studio where we stayed. Also, the owner Patrick was very friendly and always taking care of everything.

The owner, Sabah, she’s great and takes care of guests for real, she’s making them feel like at home. The swimming pool and the view are amazing, I really liked the forniture used in the patio. Breakfasts are abundant and tasty. Room and bed very comfortable. Located very closed to the beaches. There is a free parking available for guests.

Some days there was a bad smell coming out of the toilet (due to humidity).

It was very pleasant, relaxing and peaceful. The room was very nice and clean.

The whole experience was v disappointing and I'm not sure what happened to make it so different from the other positive reviews on here. There were so many issues with the way we were treated, from being shouted at by the owner for not having shut the door (despite moments earlier being advised on how safe it was - no need for a safety deposit box, she leaves her car open etc) to constantly being given rules on where we could sit and when (v disappointing to not be allowed to sit on the huge terrace with many tables and chairs with a view of the pool and have an apertivo with some snacks on a couple of occasions where we were tired and wanted an early night / not to head out to dinner). The reason given that they 'clean' (i.e. wipe) the tables after breakfast so we cannot sit there. We were treated with hostility and most of the time I felt extremely anxious and that we had to walk on eggshells. Instead we had to go and sit by the car park with a view of the wasteland which meant we were eating amongst many flies and wasps. They would not accept credit card, so late at night when we wanted to settle up we had to go and find an ATM. It would have been helpful to have been told this that same morning when I'd mentioned our early flight and asked to pay. The final straw was being asked to take a small bag of rubbish about 1 kilometre away as there is only 1 x miniscule toilet bin on the property. I felt extreme sadness at their hostile pettiness. I think ultimately the best guest this property can receive is one that is rarely there - which is a shame as it is a lovely pool with a good view of the sea and we would have had a different holiday there if we were made to feel welcome and treated with hospitality. The other thing to mention is Carboneras is very industrial, there is a big cement works, electrical plant and those views dominate. The town itself is fairly bland and missing charm. Recommend Aqua Amarga instead.
