The Ibis at the TGV station is a prefect stop off point if you arrive late or need to leave for an early train. The rooms are functional and the showers are excellent. It is a very friendly hotel where they were able to find room for me in the restaurant when I arrived very late and hassled after a long and disrupted journey. The breakfast is also excellent, once you have found everything. The highlight is the orange crushing machine which produces the freshest possible juice. One advantage of being next to the station is that it is very easy and cheap to get into Valence itself, which is an interesting city with a central square full of bars and restaurants. The bus service runs more frequently than the train and stops right outside the hotel (at least on the way back).

My only suggestion for an improvement is the signposting on the way in from the station, which doesn’t make it particularly clear that there is an entrance on the nearest side, opposite the Relay café.

We always stay here when we travel from Spain to the UK. It's convenient, the parking is secure, the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and and they appear to be soundproofed as we didn't hear noise from the corridor or the adjoining rooms. Breakfast is good with a selection of breads and pastries, fruit, and coffees. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is disappointing. With France famed for its cuisine, it is a great shame that the best they can do is a Courte Paille franchise. Hardly any veggie choice and pricy for what they produced. I would have preferred to have had a Burger King or McDonald's - and I don't particularly like either!

Great location in walking distance from Valence TGV station. It is a very new hotel with great staff, clean, well-equipped rooms, and amazing views. I missed "meaty breakfast" but try local cake, it is good. Fresh orange juice made from cold oranges was fantastic, coffee machine, teas, water, normal and alternative kinds of milk and small set of cheeses.

Breakfast is the slightly weaker thing BUT ONLY if you like scrambled eggs and e.g. bacon or sausages. Their breakfasts are great and full of sweet stuff, cakes, croissants, and pancakes. From the non-sweet things, there is only 1 type of salami, no scrambled eggs but a machine to make hard-boiled eggs. However, I have left my style and went for sweet brekkie and enjoyed it. So don't plan to diet. :-)

Very good location for travelers to/from the station. Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Very good breakfast, although too few vegetables.

Maybe it was just my tiredness and absent-mindedness, or maybe the entrance could have been better marked. We had taken the wrong road on arrival and had to go back (the man behind us made the same mistake), and on our way out we had apparently used a different exit to the car park – we got out without a problem, but not without a moment of consternation.

It was very close to train station so that gets a thumbs up, the staff were very welcoming and efficient especially in the bar / restaurant area it was also very clean and organised

The only thing I can think of and it’s really not a problem as such is we are both vegans and we struggled a little with the menu we do like burgers but not all the time whilst out , a few small change to some items on your menu could make vegans a little more inclusive

northing, it was just perfect for what we needed. if I have to be super picky, maybe kettle in the room would have been good. but we noticed that there is a kettle downstairs for people who want to make their teas/coffees. we noticed it late unfortunately

We were driving through France to Spain, so this hotel was perfect for us: easy access from motorway, parking, early breakfast, 24h reception. The breakfast was very good, everyone from our family could find something. The room was clean, warm and spacious.

No decaf and no fruit tea for breakfast (only normal coffee with caffein and only black tea)

We would always use this hotel as a TGV stopover. Everything is well designed, and there is a restaurant and bar open long hours, and the buffet breakfast is excellent, something for everyone. There is a complimentary tea and coffee take away service in the foyer, rather than in the room . We were so happy we changed our booking from another hotel that said 'TGV'. Really close to the station. Good size room.

Rooms aren’t very big, nor is the bathroom but they are more than adequate for an overnight stay. The breakfast is reasonable with a good range of choice, breakfast is served quite early which is ideal if catching an early train. Location ideal if using Valence TGV station.

No tea or coffee in rooms

The hotel is located close to the Valence TGV train station. The restaurant is also good and reasonably priced. The facilities are also clean and comfortable.

Nothing. I liked the quiet location, but it is in the middle of nowhere, so for those who wish to stay in the city of Valence, it's a bit far away.
