Loved the suite with the separate living space. Loved that the rooms and hallways were decorated with large photos of local attractions, modern industrial feel. Restaurant was fantastic! Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. We liked the personal touches, the hand written note telling us to enjoy our stay was very sweet. We stayed in the winter, so the facility was in "Inn" mode with limited staff, but you'd never know! Check in and out were very easy and convenient. Nick, the bartender was great!!! Definitely would stay again.

The super friendly staff set us up with champagne in the room, which was completely clean. Great towels. Loved the easy-to-use blinds for the window. Not having to go outside to get to Tracey's was super convenient. We accidentally ruined one of the surge protectors by spilling champagne on it, and the staff were still so friendly.

Toilet bottom wasn't caulked. One piece of flooring was missing from the tub. Other than that, it was awesome.

Staff was friendly, rooms were super clean. They gave us a wonderful welcome basket with coffee, bottled water, breakfast bars, tea and oatmeal. The restaurant was expensive, not alot of options for picky eaters but the food was good. Nick the bar tender kept us entertained as well and created for us fun cocktails. Wonderful little gem and close to Pictured Rocks and the cruise boats.

The location of the hotel was great. It overlooks Lake Superior and is close to the docks that all the tourist boats use. The hotel also has a restaurant that offers gourmet dishes. The staff of the restaurant and the hotel staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Check in and check out are efficiently done.

This hotel had coffee available, no breakfast foods. There was not a microwave in the room and no cooking was permitted in guest rooms. This was not a big deal for us, we had our car, and a great breakfast place was located about 1 mile from the hotel.

The view from our balcony was great! The room was exceptional! The restaurant's food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful!

The noise from the restaurant was alittle loud, but not terrible. I think if there was a door at the top of the stairs from the restaurant it might not have been as loud as it was. Also, with it only being one way up and down from the 2nd floor was a bit concerning, there really needs to be another way down.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was remarkably comfortable and well designed, with balcony views of Lake Superior. We were upgraded to one of their suites because we were celebrating our anniversary (and I’m sure it helped that it was still the off-season). The best restaurant in town is in the same property, and their food is SO good. It’s just a short drive or walk to downtown as well as easy access to Pictured Rocks. We highly recommend the Roam Inn!

Everything fine! I forgot a travel bag when we left and called back a couple days later to see if it was found. The girl that answered said that they had found the bag and graciously offered to mail it to us free of charge! Wonderful!!!

Approaches to the facility was somewhat confusing.

Overall very comfortable stay. Lots of room to spread out our collection of ski trip clothing and gear. They provided us a free upgrade as well since there were few guests and a cancelation. Beautifully decorated with large photo murals of local outdoor scenes in room and hallways.

The dual heating units were an issue we didn't figure out. We tried setting the one in the living area at about 68 and the one in the bedroom at 60 for sleeping and it seemed to still be too warm in bedroom. It was as though the bedroom unit was tied to the living area unit. If this is the case, there should only be a single control panel to adjust. Another idea would be to have a few electrical outlets in the parking area for diesel vehicles such as our pickup truck. Engine warmers can be crucial with starting in very cold weather.

They advertise that breakfast is snacks and coffee. We were expecting Granola bars. When breakfast was actually a bowl of fresh berries,fresh fruit,amazing muffins,cereal, yogurt, and a few other things. Beds were comfortable, shower was great, clean, and the service was exceptional.

Roam Inn is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The decor and comfort of the rooms are unbeatable. They really pay attention to details. I had one of the best nights of sleep in a bed that’s not my own there at Roam Inn, and I also had the best meal I’ve ever had at their restaurant, Tracey’s. It’s just a wonderful place, and I would not want to stay anywhere else if Roam Inn were always an option.
