Breakfast was simple which was all you needed. Waffles, bagels, cereals, fresh fruit. Then strawberries, blueberries or syrup for the waffles. Cream cheese for bagels. Juices coffee an of course hot chocolate. The office a breakfast were in a separate building from the rooms. Was a very short walk to get to breakfast. They have local apparel on site also. For those going up in the winter for snowmobiling an other winter activities there is a snowmobile rental next to the hotel. And a cozy bar with a beautiful fireplace, they open for the winter time guest. Rooms were clean. Beds a bedding were very comfortable. They do accept pets. Staff was knowledgeable of the area as well as very friendly.

Have to say there was nothing we didn’t like. We had no special needs while we were there.

The ramp to our second-floor room was a surprise, but so much better than stairs! We were also surprised to be directed from the main lobby to another building, but it was quiet and farther from the road, so actually a very good location.

We would have appreciated a nightlight or alternative to the ceiling light near the bathroom, to make the nighttime trip to the loo safer and not so bright for other sleepers.

When we arrived the lady asked us if we want the 2 beds or is a king bed ok? I told her that we would prefer a king bed! :-) The people were very friendly. The location was great. It was nice size and the sitting area was in a great location. It was almost like having 2 rooms.

The breakfast didn't have any eggs or meat. The pool and hot were not open. This was a large disappointment because it would have been nice after all the hiking. The room was run down, but it was ok. The people above us were very loud and sounded like they were going to come through the floor, but that isn't the hotels fault.

The room was very spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked well. I liked that the ice machine was near the room and had 24 hour access.

We could hear people talking in the next room and wondered if they could hear us as well as we heard them. We weren't saying anything that was "bad" but it was uncomfortable to think that someone might overhear everything. On the 3rd night of our stay, the people above us were very noisy. I realize there's nothing you can do about that. The bathroom had a sign that housekeeping was available by request only but one morning when we cam back from breakfast, someone had emptied the trash and refreshed towels and such in the bath. We were surprised and would have liked to know that this would happen. It was unexpected since we hadn't requested anything.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was amazing. It was so easy to jump back to the room to change after hiking our hanging out at the beach and then right back to downtown to eat or explore. The outside entrance made it easy to go back and forth to the car and hanging wet clothes outside the room was a breeze.

The facilities could've been updated but for the price was exactly what I expected. The beds were a bit too soft/worn in but definitely not uncomfortable. And the AC had a tough time keeping up but we didn't come for the AC, we came for nature.

A bit of a walk to get to breakfast but room was clean & fairly quiet. It is on a busy highway. We would have appreciated more lighting on the driveway into the hotel - at night it was difficult to see the entrance when entering from Munising.

Room with 2 queen beds and bathroom were large and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely would stay here again . It is also dog friendly so we were able to have our dog with us.

I loved that the young lady at the desk when we arrived was ready to show us places to go, circled things on the map she got for us, places we probably shouldn't go expense wise, and she was just friendly!

Wished for some bacon or sausage in the breakfast. Was still good!

I was very surprised by how nice the room was. It seemed like a 5 star hotel room! The service was also great! Staff was super friendly.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We enjoyed it all!

The hotel is a 5 min drive from Munising. The morning sky view is great. The rooms and beds are comfortable. They don't have family rooms yet because they are still in upgrade mode.

Wifi range is not good. They have continental breakfast but minimal options. Overall stay was good.
