Location to town/attractions. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and staff were friendly.

Didn't bother me because we are familiar, but this hotel has well water with a strong iron smell. bring a good conditioner. Because they named their dining hall and do not have a sign above the door, the check in desk was tough to find. We thought it was a separate business and the pin dropped us at the back of the property on navigation. Check-in is in an independent building to the left when entering.

Clean and spacious hotel rooms, very helpful and cheerful staff, sumptuous continental breakfast, great location of the hotel, situated right next to a major highway, and affordable hotel rates. We could park our car right next to the hotel room!

The breakfast and the sign-in reception desk are in a different building than the one that contains the hotel rooms, which is just different!

The staff was amazing. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. and the cleaning staff were friendly. Was a great place for our family including our dog.

not much. didn't have enough towels and needed soap for the shower, but we were able to get it from the front desk. Also, the living area in the suite needed its own AC or fan. It got stuffy when the doors were shut. Also, the pool would be nice once it becomes available.

Loud annoying Air Conditioner but, Happy we had A/C Tub and shower needing major updates. Very poor water pressure. More comfortable beds and a replacement of all bed pillows. We had two Queen beds in the room. All the bed pillows were. terrible on both beds. The beds probably need an update. Our room on the upper level had a ramp and walkway. This access to rooms needs definite repairs..

Breakfast was simple which was all you needed. Waffles, bagels, cereals, fresh fruit. Then strawberries, blueberries or syrup for the waffles. Cream cheese for bagels. Juices coffee an of course hot chocolate. The office a breakfast were in a separate building from the rooms. Was a very short walk to get to breakfast. They have local apparel on site also. For those going up in the winter for snowmobiling an other winter activities there is a snowmobile rental next to the hotel. And a cozy bar with a beautiful fireplace, they open for the winter time guest. Rooms were clean. Beds a bedding were very comfortable. They do accept pets. Staff was knowledgeable of the area as well as very friendly.

Have to say there was nothing we didn’t like. We had no special needs while we were there.

This property looks great, inside and out, particularly for the cost being very affordable. The room was great. The breakfast was very nice in a great location with a nice view. All of the staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Munising is a great place to visit, and this is the place to stay while you are there.

Not having a freezer in the room was the only possible "negative", although ice was readily available.

The property has definitely been updated since the previous ownership. The front desk staff was so kind and friendly, and the breakfast was actually great. It’s a perfect location to stay before heading to Pictured Rocks.

The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were a bit dirty and the showers definitely need some updating and TLC. The smell/taste of the water was a bit funky as well, so make sure to bring your own potable drinking water.

The ramp to our second-floor room was a surprise, but so much better than stairs! We were also surprised to be directed from the main lobby to another building, but it was quiet and farther from the road, so actually a very good location.

We would have appreciated a nightlight or alternative to the ceiling light near the bathroom, to make the nighttime trip to the loo safer and not so bright for other sleepers.

Located near places we wanted to see. Friendly service. Nice breakfast.

In the back building where we were in, the outside entrance doors to the building did not open or lock with our key cards to secure the building from non-guests. They were busted open it looked like so the doors no longer fastened closed/locked.

When we arrived the lady asked us if we want the 2 beds or is a king bed ok? I told her that we would prefer a king bed! :-) The people were very friendly. The location was great. It was nice size and the sitting area was in a great location. It was almost like having 2 rooms.

The breakfast didn't have any eggs or meat. The pool and hot were not open. This was a large disappointment because it would have been nice after all the hiking. The room was run down, but it was ok. The people above us were very loud and sounded like they were going to come through the floor, but that isn't the hotels fault.
