Comfortable rooms that were good size. Overall it was very quiet, with very little road noise, or noise from other rooms. The pool area was very nice (though the air temp was a little chilly). Overall everything was very adequate.

The breakfast buffet was relatively lackluster, minus the waffle makers. Our room door was opened while we were inside by someone despite the do not disturb sign being on the door (it was closed quickly, and wasn't a big deal it was just a little strange). Overall for the price point it did not feel like the best value in the world. We stayed at a slightly nicer hotel in Marquette the previous few nights before coming here, that was about $25 less a night compared to here, and in comparison it felt as though this should be the slightly cheaper one. It wasn't an outrageous price by any means, but felt like it could've been better. Location may be a contributor to this as well.

Loved the size of the pool and the depth was perfect for kids. The hot tub worked great and the sauna worked well, it was a neat experience, I didn't spend too much time there. The size of the hotel was nice, being on the first floor, we didn't have to walk far for the pool or breakfast. Breakfast had the usual quick grab and minimum options. But there was decent coffee, hot water, and a microwave. I accommodate and bring my own oatmeal and food. I enjoyed the artwork and decorations throughout the lobby. Would have been nice to have access to hot water after breakfast. But I Just heated up a cup of water in the microwave, I just like drinking hot tea throughout the day and to unwind. The room was cozy and comfortable. Could have used another chair. The bed wasn't bad, comfortable, just the headboard is too small for tall people. Needed more pillows and blankets, which we brought our own blankets. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Would return to this hotel again.

The room was very nice! Very Clean and Comfortable! The pool and hot tub were great - having the adult only hour for pool was appreciated after a long day of activity it was nice to just relax. The breakfast was good - had several options. It was a very pleasant stay!

The only thing I didn't like is there was not a table in the room or lobby where we could sit and eat. The lobby was beautiful, but we brought some lunch back with friends and could not eat together we had to eat in our rooms separately. Even in room there is only a desk not a table, so it was hard to have a meal for two in the room. It would have been nice to have a table in lobby or room or outside. Other than that, the stay was wonderful! Note - no freezer - just fridge.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was good. Coffee was hot and fresh with flavored syrups to choose from. Very happy that the sauna worked for after long days of snowmobiling in the cold and snowy temperatures. Comfortable and clean rooms.

My only complaint is that the hot tub was not working. That would have felt good after snowmobiling all day! But thankfully the sauna was working. And was very warm and comfortable. So that filled the spot of a non-working hot tub!

Pool was very nice! That was the reason for us booking! Slide and stairs up to the pool are getting rusty and need replacement (not just paint over). More light in the pool area would be nice. The nice lights were all turned off.

Breakfast was a little low. We were glad that something was there but it was very busy and not much left. That poor lady was so busy keeping up with all the traffic. She really needs help (not because she's not good (she is) but its too much for one person i think.

Good location and cleanliness. And for once the room had plenty of electrical outlets!!!

Shampoo dispenser was totally empty. The cheese omelets were horrible. You should dump those awful things and serve biscuits and gravy. Heater was VERY noisy. And while the bedding had 3 layers, more than the usual 2, it was still not enough. Had to crank the heat.

Pool and hot tub was open late. Large selection of food at breakfast. Cindy from the front counter was great. Wealth of information on everything about the hotel and things to do in the area. She also did an excellent job keeping up with the breakfast rush.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. We had an excellent stay. No complaints at all.

Employees were helpful. We arrived at 9:30, and my 13 year old was looking forward to swimming. The pool closed for kids at 10, they gave him extra time and left the small slide on for him. Breakfast was good. Cheese omelets and sausage with the usual bread and dairy.

Only the bedspread and a sheet on the bed. Front desk was out of extra blankets. But the heater worked well. Wasn't a huge issue.

On the morning of the 19th whoever the night desk person was a male. I did not get his name. He was braiding a staff member beyond The pale! If I was with the corporate office I would set him down and probably fire him. The way he was talking to that staff member could have resulted in a lawsuit for the corporation. And reported it to the desk person before checking out.

The water slide was one of the highlights of our trip for the kids. Having some food available for breakfast was nice. We booked a one bedroom King room and it was super comfy for our family of 5. Great location!

Very long check in, coffee is only machine coffee, hot breakfast items weren’t great (but there was fruit and toast that worked for overtone).
