Thank you for the Knaus family for their hospitality, friendly always smiling attitude! It was really nice the Mr Knaus provided upon arrival a package of what to do nearby with map, also sommer card! We also liked the special things like smile face on our cappucino (evety morning), beautiful and good smelling fresh rose on the table at breakfast, dinner also their authentic austrian typical clothes! The panorama from the garden, the pool, the fresh , clean air, the mountain walks, the best location to visit 2780m Dachstein, also 1400m Rittisberg, adventure park, also Salza and Riesach wasserfall! Hope to come back soon as we explored just a portion of the Dachstein am Ramsau, Schladming region!

Next time I will tell to the hotel that I am almost 2m tall;) so 2nd floor room is not an option as it has half roof bathroom, it was ok I managed still!

Breakfast was sufficient, nice nad tasty selection. Would love to have also dinner every evening, which was only 1 evening and great. Rooms were large and clean. You could hear a bit everything around in the rooms so you better hope for not noisy neighbours.

Home away from home. You are treated as a member of the family. With love and care from the heart. Breakfast was exceptional. And rooms are large and comfortable beds, all rooms have a balcony with nice views.

wonderful hotel in the mountains. Extremely clean and well-equipped. Hosts are very kind and helpful. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable, you can use a kettle and fridge. There is enough space for wet ski pants and jackets to dry, heating works very well, you can adjust in the room. Blackout curtains let you sleep despite of shining sun. Breakfast is delicious, you can have as much as you wish from the self service, warm dishes are also available. The sauna is also really nice

Excellent, beautiful location, right under Dachstein. Very nice and large rooms. Excellent breakfast. Perfect skiroom, wellness. Nice host.

We came in winter, during snowstorm, and I advise to use snow chains as a precaution, because the road can get dangerous, especially the main road uphill from Schladming. The hotel is situated next to small forest and just few hundred meters from XC ski tracks, providing great views of mountains above Schladming valley. You won´t see much of the Dachstein mountain from the hotel. Space for parking was adequate, however when the hotel is full, not all cars fit under the roof, and some must stay outside. Room is spacious and very clean, offering great views and I must say that mini-fridge is extremely silent, I was almost thinking it is broken. Mattress was a bit soft, and I enjoy sleeping on hard ones. Walls are thick, but if a child cries next door you hear it of course :) Breakfast I loved. Even my wife who is on gluten-free diet was getting her type of bread. Owners are nice, helpful.

Not particularly negative for this hotel, but if visiting during winter and wanting to enjoy dinner, you would have to spend at least 15 minutes walking to nearest hotel which serves dinner. Location is missing few restaurants when it comes to dinner time. Food served around is mostly traditional (not much for "elevated-cuisine-type" people, just good old Austrian heavy foods. :)

Very nice and super clean room. Excellent breakfast. The owner was very nice. Lovely sauna.

The shower could have more power and it was difficult to get the water temperature right. But it was minor thing.
