We return to Obertauern every year since 2009 when we have discovered it. This year we have chosen Edelweiss Hotel for the first time and we were delighted. The Hotel is great, the closest one can imagine to the ski slope, fabulous dining experience, incredible wellness centre and above all, very kind and carrying staff. We have also enjoyed, the lunch brakes at Luerzer Alm.

Everything was wonderful

Anazing breakfast, friendly staff, spa area is perfect (never been to a better steam sauna although we use finnish the most). The pool was a great temperature and nice size. The restaurant has amazing food!! We had carpaccio, steak, duck a bottle of cabernet sauvignon and after that toblerone mouse and chocolate souffle. Everything was perfect. The steak was ordered rare and was spot on!

The only thing that could be better is the pillows which were really flat, otherwise we loved the hotel and restaueant

the bed mattress was wery old and uncomfortable! some of the writers was nasty! the floor was “singing”, the pictures with the room that I have seen on Booking.com didn’t look like the reality! In the room I didn’t have the fridge! the doors of the wardrobe was creaking!

Restaurant staff were great; very well trained and detailed-oriented. Friendly, service oriented and helpful. Food was well prepared and included a good variety. Chef was great in accommodating a finicky 8-year old eater, which was greatly appreciated.

Very unfriendly desk reception personel. Wanted to overcharge for "extra cost" on two occasions. Rooms are outdated, bed uncofortable.

The staff was nice, as well as the location.

The dinner took way too long to serve, even upon request, it still took a very long time. We could not opt out of the dinner, which had to be pre-paid. We chose not to eat there due to this experience and had dinner elsewhere the next day. The mattress was of very low quality, which caused it too difficult to sleep on. One of the rooms was very tiny - like a student room - not adequate for the cost associated with that room.
