Overall we were very happy with our stay. We are impressed how much helpful was the staff (and the family :)) and how easy was it for us to manage all (check-in, parking, ski room and ski lifts, breakfast etc). Breakfast was nice and dinner was really delicious, I can tell no need to search for other restaurants in the vicinity to have the dinner. Only negative comment we can come up with was the wifi connection but maybe specific to our room which was in the corner. It was the first time for us to be in Obertauern but thanks to their support we enjoyed and managed the stay very easily.

Everyone at this property was extremely helpful and friendly. They were very considerate and children friendly. I can strongly recommend this property. We travelled from Singapore with 2 other families. The staff proactively reserved our breakfast table so that we could sit together without us asking. The location is fabulous as you are very close to the ski lifts, but a bit away from the happenings. So, for those who want it a bit more quiet that’s perfect.

It's a small family hotel ran by the Kundl family. They are very nice people, especially Dieter, who is responsible for the weather situation! Hotel Kristall is located on a hill close to town center and main road. it's just a bit of walking from hotel ski room to a lift, really comfy. Breakfast was good. Facility is great, very clean and well kept. It was warm and comfy. Good for the skiers. It was my first stay in Obertauern, and hotel Kristall hasn't given up on me :)

The only one thing that annoyed me were matraces and pillows - they were way to soft for me. However I didn't ask the staff, so this could probaly have been solved In the breakfast the only thing I missed was a good oatmeal or porridge, otherwise it's simple, but good

I highly recommend Hotel Kristall. We spent 4 days in the hotel and everything was perfect. Hotel Kristall offers ski-to-door access as it is located next to Pernerlift and Zentralbahn skilifts. The hotel is modern, well designed and very clean and our room was very comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful with a great choice of different options. It was also possible to eat dinner in the hotel, which occurred to be a great solution for us.

The hosts and the staff were excellent, very friendly vibe, clean rooms, amazing location (lifts and main street a few minutes on foot), great breakfast, ski room, small ski slope right in front of the hotel with a working drag lift, etc. Went skiing with a friend, would definitely recommend. Will probably come back wit family.

I recently stayed at Hotel Kristall and was impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the owners, the Kindl family, as well as the hotel staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and my room was spacious and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the delicious breakfast served each morning. The location of the hotel is also perfect for ski enthusiasts, as it is easy to get to the slopes. The added bonus of an amazing sauna and a well-equipped ski and boot room made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the kindness and helpfulness of the Kindl family. When I found myself stuck on a ski slope, they went above and beyond to come to my rescue. I am truly grateful for their care and would highly recommend Hotel Kristall to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the mountains.

The staff was so friendly, especially Marija and Ronald’s parents. The location was also good; it was close to one slope that was connected to all the other slopes.

The couple that manages the property- Roland & Traute are awesome as was the entire staff. I kept thinking the entire time in German „Klein aber Fine“….and the breakfast was really good…

We spent an amazing holiday in Hotel Kristall. The host and staff are very kind and friendly. They made us feel like home during Christmas period. The facility is very neat and cozy at the same time. The breakfast was amazing and the sauna area made us relax after skiing. Highly recommended and we cannot wait to book our next skiing trip in February here.

Beautiful, great location, recently renovated, large room, excellent breakfast, and helpful/attentive staff that went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

Bed was quite soft and shower design made for wet bathroom floor unless great care was taken.
