It is simply beautiful. Gorgeous big airy rooms with such a great fan that air-con just not required. Exquisite old colonial style reminded me of the moorish Spanish palaces in Andalusia. With a lovely big pool in the central courtyard.

Unbelievably. There was no facility to buy a coffee a drink or any food. No restaurant or bar. Not the end of the world as the staff are happy to direct you to a local supermarket. .. but .. seems a shame for what could easily be the best hotel in Granada

A lovely hotel in a traditional colonial building. Our room was very big and very comfortable. A great swimming pool to cool off in. The staff were great and I want to say a special thank you to Brandon, Jaime and the one lady front desk staff member whose name I didn't get. They were so helpful and very tolerant of my lack of Spanish. The location is fantastic. So close to everything.

The rooms were large and comfortable and the swimming pool and communal areas were wonderful. I don’t think the photos do it justice. It was also located in a great spot close to the main square but on a quiet road. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfasts were good.

The bedroom didn’t really have any natural light so a bit dark to spend time in during the day.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Granada for a quick overnight for hot showers and laundry service. Staff was wonderful, accommodations were great; breakfast was delicious. WONDEFUL location! My daughter wants to bring friends back to Granada for her 16th birthday trip and we plan to stay at Casa del Consulado when we return next summer!

Location was not far from La Merced and Central Park so was very convenient. Breakfast was very good with a menu so you had the choice including a fruit bowl. Room was comfortable and there was hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful. They even had a hotel cat who decided she liked me and came to visit when I was on the couch

Hotel is beautiful and follows the pretty colonial style of Granada. Our room was huge with super high ceilings and a lovely big bathroom. The pool area was nice and a great place to hang out when it was super hot in middle of day. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay here.

The deluxe two queen beds room was very large and spacious. The bathroom was huge. Very nice room. The pool is right in the courtyard and catches early day sun. Both the evening and morning staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The price we got was very good value for money. Several breakfast options available and you tell the staff the day before what you would like and what time for it to be ready. We really like the Nicaraguan breakfast. Was only going to stay one night but ended up staying for two.

Not a big deal but I wish the lightbulbs that were used in the room were soft yellow lights, not the bright fluorescent white light that is so common in Central America. Everything else was great!

Wonderful and helpful staff, close to all the action in the central park but also quiet and peaceful within its many courtyards and in our room. Cool AC, amazing bathroom, fun pool, delicious breakfast.

The room did not have a window. The breakfast could have had a bigger selection.
