The room was small but clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is at a very good location, right opposite the castle and a 3-minute-walk to the old bridge.

The only problem was the drainage of the bathtub. The water went down slowly and when another guest in another room was having a bath, our bathtub started filling up with water!

Best location in town. We had a room on the 4th floor looking out over the river and up to the Marienberg. Postcard stuff. A good comfortable traditional hotel. A small elevator was very welcome, the wifi was great and there was a small fridge in the room for my wife's medications. The aircon worked a treat. There are electric shutters on the windows to help block out light and noise, but they also helped keep the room cool while we were out. The staff were nice and had some English, which helped us with our limited German. We had breakfast onsite both days, it was fresh and plentiful and the nice lady would have cooked for us if we'd asked. There are plenty of eating and drinking options within easy walking distance.

There are steps up from the street to reception, so if you have mobility issues (mine are fairly minor) then you should keep this in mind.

Directly along the river, maybe 10 minutes stroll to the Mainbrucke. Easy walking distant to the entire Altstadt. Parked the car and never needed it again until we left Wurzburg. Room to light. Beautiful windows showing the river and fortress across the Main river. THe breakfast was worth it and it was in a quant restaurant on the ground floor. Staff was very helpful throughout.

Nothing. All was in order. There is some construction and renovation ongoing but hardly noticed and were not inconvenienced by it.

Super comfy bed. Great location. Friendly staff, well humoured.

It’s great they have parking but they don’t have many spaces and you have to ask a member of staff to let you in/out (the garage is on another street). I’ve stayed at this hotel several times so it’s never really been a problem.

Outstanding view from our room. Great location. Despite being short staffed staff were extremely attentive and wanted to help whenever possible

Rooms are smallish, Very German. Very nice no coffee maker. A/C and I got an amazing view of the Festung(Castle) right on the river. one window shade didn't work. Very clean and nice.

Perfect location for visiting Wurzburg! Spectacular view over the fortress, near the "old bridge". Close to everything, yet out of crowds noise! Walking distance to all the major touristic "points"! Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Charming "esplanada" outside, with lovely view to the fortress, river and old bridge. Car park (private) at 50 m! Overall, good value for money!

Bathroom a little small, but still acceptable.

The hotel was ideally located for both the city and my daughter's student flat. The breakfast was wonderful-so much variety and very tasty and plenty of healthy options, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the Festung. and the river. The restaurant exceeded my expectations and was obviously very popular with locals,too.

The corridors were less inviting with outmoded decor and carpets which smelt musty and cigarette fumed. The carpet in our room was similar and the only thing about the room I didn't like!

Very easy to find, there was a garage for our bikes, the room was large with air conditioning, bed super comfy. Quick walk into town. Breakfast was delicious.
