They upgraded up to a family room with a little kitchenette for free, which was nice. Staff was friendly. Location is pretty good, only minutes away from the main street (15 minutes walking, 3 minutes driving) where most of the shops and restaurants are. Generally clean room.

Air conditioning is SUPER loud, I had to ask my spouse to turn it off at night as it was keeping me awake. But hey, better than none, especially in 35°C heat. I don't think it's the owner's fault, but our parking spot was always taken by someone else which then forced us to park in somebody else's spot. And the last little bit,which I know is fixable and they said they'll work on it, is that toilet wouldn't flush half of the time.

What a great little gem. My original Booking.com reservation got cancelled by the homeowner (for BS reasons). I needed another place to stay in Kincardine with less than a month to go... And I'm sooo glad I found Maple Leaf I&S. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms booked and they were gracious enough to upgrade one of them so my mom had a bit more room for her mobility aid. Although there's a dated rustic look to the exterior, the rooms were very modern inside, super clean and incredibly comfortable. Everything I had read on previous reviews was correct. This was a great experience all around. Do yourself a favour and book your stay. Excellent value and a short 10-15 minute walk to the middle of downtown. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation stay.

Easy parking, rooms fully modernized and very clean. Beds were comfy, exceptional shower and water pressure. Nice to have a smart tv so we could watch what we wanted. Very friendly staff, clearly working hard to keep things nice. AC works well.

No real things we didn’t like. Lobby is a bit underwhelming upon arrival with what looks like a lounge full of random hotel but and pieces messily stored. Not a great first impression but the rest of everything was great.

We like the convenience of the location, and that there was a mini-fridge and microwave available. The rooms have also been renovated since our last stay, and the new layout and new flooring is a significant improvement.

This is more personal preference than anything, but I found the pillows to be too soft and unsupportive for me. Even a mid-range firmness would be a big improvement, though that is probably not true for everyone.

Room was way nicer then expected. I am a handyman by trade and I've seen a lot of motels. The owners are new and have done many upgrades and work to this place in past two years. The owner is a very pleasing nice guy and his 15yr old son is a very nice boy. As far as a drive up motel type place this for sure is as good as it gets. I highly recommend this to someone needing a decent place for a decent price. Owners put alot of effort to be sure all is good and your taken care of. I found this motel last minute, never been there before, and owner offered me a ride to event if cab was not available. It should get 12 stars for hospitality and cleanliness alone.

We had a renovated room Large room spacious with 2 beds and a couch and chair Plus bathroom a closet area and a small additional room with fridge microwave and a small table and chairs was at the back of the room The Kitchenette wasn’t finished in our room but wasn’t needed for our one night stay Don’t judge a book by its cover The outside looks older and signs that are advertising need up dating but the room was so clean and beds were comfortable. We will stay here again

Walking distance to downtown shopping/eating district and marina. Reached our restaurant for dinner in about 15 minutes. Loved that we could sit outside our unit and enjoy the beautiful evening. Thank you for providing Muskoka chairs outside each unit. Also there were a couple of BBQ available for guests to use if we so desired.

In-room bar fridge was not turned on when we arrived. It took a long while to cool down.

This is our go to place in Kincardine. We like the rooms that are configured for two friends : with 2 beds separated by a wall. Clean comfortable bedding Fridge and coffee maker. Lots of chairs outside. A green space and picnic tables. Quiet location at edge of town. Downtown is walkable if you are even moderately fit. They have Netflix and good Wi-Fi.

Renovated and well kept. The management takes good care of the property. Location and the room size are good. Suits well for active travellers.

Last night of our stay we couldn't sleep till 2:30am because of a loud talk (TV?) from a next door room. Would be nice to know how to address that, in advance.

Genial management. Very clean. Comfy beds. Looked like newly redone bathroom. Was really quiet — even though there’s a lot of Bruce nuclear workers staying, I didn’t even hear them leaving in the morning. I thought they would be yacking and revving trucks in am waking me early.

No instructions in room how to work TV via 2 remotes. AC slightly noisy.
