A hidden gem in the pictoresque San Baronto. A wonderful pool with a remarkable view. Away from the most touristic aread with local charm. Surrounded by restaurants. We felt very welcomed. One hour drive away from the coast, Florence and many other attractions in Tuscany.

The room was modest and quite dark. No fridge to store your snacks. Not many vegan options for breakfast or in the restaurant. Pool closes quite early so no late dips.

We stayed during the winter for three nights (so very off peak for this hotel) but found the staff warm and welcoming! The New Year’s dinner was simply amazing, Rachel and her team made this family holiday very special for us, although rooms are basic they are clean, a typical older style hotel but boasting a warm and excellent restaurant and great service. The heating worked well in the rooms, the views were great of the valley below and it was extremely good value for money.

Slightly dated decor but we knew this before we arrived.

All the staff were fantastic, we felt very welcome and well taken care of. The location was great with wonderful views over Tuscany. There is a bar next door serving great gelato and a small shop two doors down selling lovely local produce. In addition to the hotel restaurant , there is another restaurant and a pizzeria within 1 minutes walk. The room was a good size, with a lovely big terrace. The pool area had an incredible view. The pool was also a good temperature and clean - plenty of seating/loungers and large umbrella's available. The breakfasts were excellent - a good selection of local and fresh produce, plus great coffee. There was an outdoor bar on site, open in the evenings, with great views - fabulous for an aperitivo before dinner. The restaurant - well, we spent 12 days in Italy. This hotel's restaurant served some of the best food we had on this trip (the bistecca and the pork fillet in a rose jus), and one of the best dishes I've had anywhere (the pasta stuffed with beef and served with a beef and red fruit jus and a pecorino cream)! Additionally, the wine list was vast!

The bed was quite uncomfortable, I could feel the springs. And the terrace chairs weren't comfortable if sitting out for a long time. Generally the cleanliness was good, but there were a couple of areas which had been missed (under the lip of the glass desk and behind the bathroom door). The bathroom was quite tired with some broken fixtures (but we still felt it was good value).

Lovely hotel with real nice pool area, stunning view and good breakfast. Pool bar is great, employees are really friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay a lot. God a nice room with balcony.

We had a room with a stucking entrance door that was heavy to move and loud as well as it grinds on the floor all the time when opening. In bathroom the little bin was defect, easy to switch instead of trying to „fix“ it by laying the lid on the bin over and over again. Missing plugs in bathroom sink(s) are not helpful when try to shave. Somehow some tiles in the bathroom have splashes of whit paint on it. Easy to clean as well.

Location and view is outstanding! Rachele is an amazing host. So warm and welcoming! On top of your every need, and more. She is the 4th genereation in her familiy to run the hotel, and the place is just so perfectly unformel but still professially run. Pool and pool area is super! View out of this world. And the bar can procide you with ice cold beers, snacks etc. Stefano makes the most amazing food!! Do not cheat yourself of that experience! It is a homemade and local version of Michelin quality, and as a bonus price is great! The view from the restaurant makes you lost for words. All in all Bellavista was so much more than we could have hoped for, and we plan to return in the future!

Nothing not to love

Very friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Rachele took great interest in showing us things to do in the area. Particularly enjoyed visit to local vineyard that she recommended. Food in restaurant was good. Great pool area, but bit of a climb up numerous steps to get there. Great views from some rooms, restaurant and pool area.

Unfortunately a group of Swiss school kids were disruptive for part of our time, causing hassle to staff and residents alike. Parking at times across the road was awkward.

Fantastic hotel and location. This is the real Tuscany, with real genuine people. No tourist trap in San Baronto. Rachele the owner provides fantastic service and care for the guests. Great location for exploring the region, and great hotel for recharging after a day of exploring. We loved the pool overlooking the region. Hotel serves excellent food and wine at reasonable prices. Fantastic atmosphere right in the center of San Baronto.

What an amazing gem this hotel is, the location, the staff, the view. Absolute highlight of our trip. Everybody was so accommondating, upgrading the room was no problem at all. Will definitely come back. Thank you again so much.

Amazing location with attentive staff. The rooftop terrazzo restaurant was superb in terms of service and the food and wind. Totally friendly with a professional feeling. in addition the WiFi throughout in every location of the hotel was superb

Great location with fantastic views over the valley. Good quality and tasty food in the summer restaurant. Good restaurants across the road. Close to Florence and Pisa by car. Good quality toiletries

The mattress needs to be changed and the headboard needs to be fixed to the wall. I would have preferred a room with a better position considering I booked a Superior room.
