This was a great location and view and the room was very comfortable. We were informed we were visiting in the very (very!) offseason which was clear with the low occupancy. So we had great service, got to choose our breakfast off the menu and had fun surprises (like a bottle of wine) left in the room. The bed was so comfortable and cozy.

Amenities were decent - would have loved to be able to use the pool even in the 'off season' had it been heated ;)

In a quiet location just off the main road in Sarande. Rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. We had a room with balcony from which we could see across the bay to the town on the far side. On site parking was a bonus. Breakfast was filling. Omellettes were made to order plus there was bread, fresh fruit, salad, yoghurt and sweetstuff. Breakfast was served on the rooftop of the hotel with a lovely view of the sea. Staff were very friendly and attended to every need. Lovely shop across the road to buy drinks and snacks. Restaurant on the seafront itself served the most beautiful, tasty food, had amazing staff and was open until about 11pm.

Sadly, as it was low season, the hotel bar and restaurant were closed. Sarande seafront also had most outlets closed but we did manage to find a couple of places to eat nearby, though one of them closed early.

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Julia, I was impressed by its warm ambiance, attentive service, and charming elegance. Every interaction felt personal, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Check-in was seamless, and I was warmly welcomed with helpful local tips and a sincere smile.

A Hidden Gem in Sarandë – Absolutely Perfect! I had the most wonderful stay at Julia Hotel in Sarandë and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. You can really feel the personal touch here—it’s clear the team genuinely cares about every guest. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. My room was spacious and cozy, with a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Waking up to that view each morning was a dream. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and the port. Yet it’s peaceful enough that you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. It really strikes the perfect balance. Breakfast was a delight every morning, with fresh local ingredients, traditional Albanian flavors, and enough variety to keep things interesting. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. Julia Hotel is a true gem in Sarandë. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or just to explore the Albanian Riviera, this hotel is a perfect base. I will absolutely be back!

The hotel is very nice, well maintained, in a minimalist style. The room was spacious, clean, cleaned daily. Super breakfast on the roof terrace. The staff is willing and helpful, e.g. with parking. We also appreciated the pool, the water was pleasant. The hotel is located near the end of the promenade and approx. 20 minutes' walk from the port. There is a bus stop to Ksamil/Butrint near the hotel. The hotel is not cheap, but the quality corresponds to the price.

The only small problem is the open shower. After showering, there is water in the whole bathroom. However, it is a small thing and daily cleaning will solve everything.

Location was great, a few minutes walk to a small beach, shops and restaurants. Rooms were spotless, clean sheets/towels everyday and bottles of water in fridge most days. Great views overlooking the sea front. Great friendly staff. Because it was almost end of season the rooftop bar wasn’t open, but they accommodated us with drinks anyway. Much appreciated.

We had a hire car and did find it difficult to find the hotel, because of its situation. Situated on a back street and a one way steep slope to get out of. Definitely need some more signage.

Great location and the hotel looks very modern. Didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast on the roof terrace was a fantastic way to start each day and the selection of food was decent. Rooms were a good size and the balcony provided a lovely view of Sarande.

I had stayed in some other hotels in Albania before this one and this didn't have the most comfortable bed. It wasn't bad but this was definitely on the firmer side. Also, the air-conditioning was difficult to control and I found myself waking up in the night to turn it off and it was too hard to figure out how to set a certain temperature.

The hotel was very clean and new. There is a club not far from the hotel but don't let that deter from booking as the soundproofing was very good. The staff are lovely and helpful, breakfast was very nice. The location is great for the night life/restaurants. Our first time in Albania but not our last.

We had to think hard to remember anything negative but the only thing we would say is that the shower is close to the sink unit and after a shower the whole bathroom is messy but it is such a small issue and definitely does not affect the enjoyment of the Julia.
