We stayed only one night, on the road to the sea but: + the personnel - the lady from reception was nice and really helpful (with restaurant and events recommendations) and also the staff from breakfast + location is great, easy to reach, near a large park and the castle, with safe and private parking places + rooms and bathroom were clean and generous; bonus - very good quality toiletries + the continental breakfast was fresh, divers, with tasty coffee and pastries + for sporty people - there is a small gym for guests + the cookies in the room and the possibility to buy art from hotel were a nice touch + we didn't had time to test it but the bar near reception seemed nice and cozy for an evening cocktail

Recommendations, not a minus: - offering slippers for people booking a room with terrace (it was raining when we arrived, so we had to let our shoes near the terrace to stay outside when rain stopped); - providing a box of tissues in the room

The hotel itself is perfectly equipped, it’s very modern and exceptionally clean. It is also wheelchair accessible and it has one of the most usable wheelchair accessible room with wheelchair accessible bathroom I’ve ever been. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful and a very delicious breakfast is included. Overall it has been a great experience and I can’t wait my future stays in the Hotel Castellum.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

Everything at this hotel was great. The room was just like the pictures, air conditioning worked ok, there is a mini fridge, internet is included and fast, TV has a few English language channels, and the food at the restaurant is great!

They should have been more clear on their own website, Booking.com, AND confirmation emails sent, that: a) there is no check in after 10pm b) the procedure for late check in should be posted on their own website, Booking.co, AND confirmation emails. c) the phone numbers listed on their website and Booking.com did not work after hours, no one answered.

We loved the location, near the highway, close to the center of the city. We also loved breakfast, multiple options for food as well as drinks and sweets. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

We received a room on the top floor, on the far end of the hotel, in the half attic floor, right under the roof. Usually I don't have a problem with that, but there were inclined pillars supporting the roof and I'm a tall man and I've banged my head a couple of times into those pillars. That's the only problem we've had.

Good location, right next to the city park and in walking distance to the downtown. Nice and cozy room and very nice and new bar downstairs with summer terrace. I recommend it to all and will definitely come back again.

No kettle or coffee machine in the room ! Why ? It is a must for hotel in this look or category and it costs nothing in fact but creates different level of comfort ! Especially in case you have no option to order any beverage after 11pm in the hotel. Time to fix this!

Breakfast was good, but during our stay, there was a day that we had to leave early in the morning and according to the reception staff it wasn't possible to have breakfast before 07:00 am. We understood, so we asked for a lunch box for the next day and were told that yes, it would be possible. The following day we received the lunch box, which was not very good, because the bread did not seem to be very fresh, but that wasn't the biggest problem for us to be honest. Considering that it was only 06:45 am, or a quarter to 07:00, and we noticed that breakfast was ready to serve, we asked if it would be possible to just have a coffee, but to our surprise, we were denied on the grounds that they could only serve after 07:00. I couldn’t believe it, it was just a coffee, we were not going to eat because we had our lunch boxes, but OK, we believed the receptionist and tried to understand. However, the next day, we also had to leave a bit earlier than usual and decided to go downstairs to have breakfast at 06:55 and to our amazement, there were already guests having breakfast at 06:55 am, and considering what was on their plates, they must have stated eating at least 5 to 10 minutes before we arrived. Meaning that they were permitted to sit down and enjoy their meal at least at 06:45 am, the same hour that we wanted to have a coffee the day before. Obviously, we were surprised, offended, and upset, because the day before we had been denied the same privilege. I say privilege because obviously breakfast was being served to these guests before 7am, the time indicated for breakfast to be opened by the receptionists. Sorry, but I couldn’t let this situation go by without commenting.

I didn't like being treated differently from other guests, for reasons mentioned above.

Friendly staff, very close to the city centre, free parking, and a modern building.

Every 45 minutes or so, there is a loud but brief buzzing sound coming from the fan coil. During the day when cooling is on, it doesn't seem so loud because the fan is on, but during the night when the system is turned off, it is very loud and wakes you up.

Modern, clean hotel, comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Spacious and comfortable bathroom. Large bed, very comfortable mattresses. Parking next to the front door. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Great location, a short walk through a magnificent park and through an ancient castle, you reach the city center.

Availability and flexibility in terms of time, in terms of service and stuff given to the guest. Quality of the caffe excellent, like in Italy. Breakfast delicious in the morning and bar pretty good. Space inside and outside. Calming space to talk and get meetings for business. The room has really a cozy and good pillow and bed! It’s clean!

There is nothing I didn’t have to say!

It is only hotel charging for pets one time 50 Euro (i have two small dogs) instead as usual charge from other hotels between 10 and 20 Euro/night (per dog). Highly recomended for people traveling with their pets.

From my point of view litle bit more offers for breakfast.
