Excellent location

we booked the room without breakfast. However, we had the breakfast on one morning. it was awesome. Both local food and continental food were served. I like the spacious room with bath tub.

we were locked out on our departure day at about 9am when we return from our morning walk. At check-in time, we were asked to pay a deposit of CNY1,500 for a 2-night stay. This was way higher than the room rates we booked at booking.com Millenium is the only hotel that requries us to pay a deposit upon check in. We merely pay the room rates in full at the other hotels.

Location and friendliness of the staffs.

The hotel location is good, it is near the tube, and quite central. The room is big and the hotel very nice. The view was nice (maybe rooms with higher rater and that are at a higher floors have even nicer view) and the hotel is close to a very vibrant area at night time for getting food and feel the city life.

It is, by current Chinese hotel standards, an hotel that is of the "older" generation. Even if the room was fine, it didn't have complimentary washing machines to use as some other hotels do now. (But there is a classic laundry service if someone needs). Totally personal preference: I dislike having carpet in the room. It didn't make my stay a bad experience nonetheless.

Stayed here for 1 night as a stopover. The hotel is located in the center of Xiamen, right across metrostation Zhenhai Road (if you’re traveling with public transport), and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around the area. The beach is reasonably close by. Great customer service, the staff helped me with my luggage and called a taxi the next day to the airport. I had a big room with a nice view overlooking the city. Complimentary waterbottles were included. I didn’t have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, so I can’t give a review of the food, but they have several great options for their guests to choose from. The staff speaks English, so checking in was easy.

At the get go, the hotel was a winner due to its location. Right next to the Zhong Shan shopping district & offering a wide variety of local food. Easy access to the metro. And for my friend who had no local digital payment app, we were glad that there was actually a few banks in the area where he could withdraw cash. The simplest yet nicest touch for me about the hotel is the breakfast spread. I especially appreciate how the kitchen / Chef ensured some tweaks to the menu line up to spice things up so that there were different things to look forward to each day. Also it was delightful that they featured local snacks alongside the usual Western fare.

The scent of the shampoo, conditioner & bath gel was just too overwhelming for me. It’s a pity because a warm shower after a day of work or travel is something I look forward to chill. A good set of wonderfully scented bathroom amenities, could have lifted the spirits, eased the lethargy & elevated my experience at the hotel.

Good location and friendly staff in the hotel . Family trip, we stayed for a week and enjoyed it so much. This hotel has a great selections of breakfast such as Xiamen famous buns and cakes , noodles and western breakfast breads ,pastries , cold salad etc . Food street and mall is just around the corner. Thank you for the surprise complimentary birthday cake and card for my teenager daughter , she is over the moon ! We had a wonderful time in Xiamen and surely will return again.

Nothing except the mattress is slightly too firm for us

All staffs are friendly, service mined, and helpful. Some speak good english, some cannot but eager to help. The location is good, right at the metro. The variety of breakfast is OK. They refill 2 bottles of water everyday. Location also right at a convenience store. Our family of 9 people with senior (75 y/o up for 5 people) find it convenience to stay here.

Hotel is a bit old. Toiletries supply could be better to compensate this weakness and create more interesting to hotel if renovation is hard to be done. The smell of shower gel can be improved. Recommend a nice aroma, refreshing scent, as Xiamen weather is a bit hot.

The staff provided great hospitality and were kind to customers. They helped us to order taxi willingly and especially there was a lady probably a manager (?) who was super kind assisting us with questions and ensuring our taxi drivers understood our destinations. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The cleaning lady was superb in cleaning our rooms daily and never failed to refill our water and coffee. The breakfast was nice and had a wide selection of Xiamen delicacies. Check in was also smooth and fast. The location of the hotel was also excellent as it was close to Zhongshan Road and the hotel was just accross a shopping mall. We loved our stay at the hotel!

The outlook of the building and the lobby may look a little older but the hotel itself was cosy and the rooms were renovated.

The rooms are big, staffs are friendly and helpful, good amenities and very good location along Siming Road and just 5 minutes stroll to Zhong Shanlu Street where you can find wide variety of local food, shopping, restaurants . Moving around is really easy, the subway is right next to the hotel, very easy to get Didi or take a bus to Xiamen University, or to catch a ferry to Gulangyu.
