I loved my stay here at Le Cou de Tou. The huts are so cosy and comfortable. It is basic but it has everything you need and I really enjoyed having my own balcony/terrace area. It has a tap to wash your feet and beach items outside and a washing line to hang beach items. The breakfast was great, and I would say overall this was excellent value for money. It also felt really safe and the hosts and staff are wonderful. It is also really close to the main stretch and Itaytay beach in Port Barton and only a 7/10 minute walk from the bus terminal. I would stay here again if I visit Port Barton in the future. I think this was one of my favourite places that I stayed in the Phillipines. The garden is lovely too and it's nice a quiet. A great place to relax at the end of the day.
You can hear the noise from the local basketball court, but the music and karoake stops at around 10pm or earlier. I also wish there was anti-bacterial soap provided for the bathroom and a hand towel for hand washing. I appreciated being able to leave my bag in the reception area while I went to the beach, but it would be good if there was a more private place to shower if you are visiting the beach after check out (there is a shower in the garden, but it is very open and not comfortable for a woman to shower so openly), and there was no where comfortable to change into my clothes before I got my bus to Puerto Princesa. These are small things, and it didn't impact my experience staying here. I would still stay here again.

We liked our stay here for being in a quiet and calm town. Our cottage was very cute and cosy for what we needed for our stay. The bathroom was big and practical and very nice for a beach stay, plus pretty stone interior. Just we needed to bring our own soap and shampoo, etc. My partner was able to use the wifi only in the common area and said it was okay, for important work stuff he used the restaurant La Santa with Starlink down the road. The loaction was central and we had a very nice chat with the friendly owners. :)
The shower water was cold. The walls were very thin and we could hear a lot from the neighbours next door. Also, guests should be reminded to stay quiet when they leave in the morning, some were super loud and woke us up around 5 or 6 am when they were saying goodbye. Breakfast is served too early, so we slept in and skipped it.

Our stay was a lovely and peaceful experience. Breakfast was good, and the coffee in the morning was especially nice—perfect for starting the day. The Wi-Fi was fast, which was a pleasant surprise for such a remote area, allowing us to stay connected when needed. The room was good—comfortable, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, with all the essentials needed. The place had a hotel-like feel, providing a great blend of comfort and relaxation while still offering the charm of a more laid-back, nature-filled environment.

Our room was lovely, the location was fabulous. You could walk pretty much anywhere in the main part of port Barton. The owner was really helpful, sorted out a motorbike rental for us and when we struggled with the motorbike, the owners son came out and helped us, even went and got some petrol for us as it was dropped off with none in it. One of our favourite stays in Palawan. Highly recommend! Very cute cat and kitten there too.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size with private bathroom and a balcony. There was a common area downstairs which we used to work on our laptops in the evening. The place felt very safe. Breakfast was very basic but better than nothing.
The walls were not soundproof at all and we could not sleep with our neighbours were watching anime in Spanish so loud we could not sleep haha the bathroom drainage system wasnt great so we we would end up flooded even after a quick shower. It can get a bit loud from the basketball court behind but we didnt mind!

One of the best stays we've had in the Philippines. Excellent location to everything in Port Barton, we walked from/to the bus terminal, around 5-7 minutes. Very friendly and super helpful staff. We booked an island hopping tour through them and we also paid for the laundry service (our clothes came back excellent). Great basic breakfast in the morning. We even asked for it a little earlier on the date of our checkout as we had a van leaving for El Nido at 8am and they kindly cooked it for us. Great clean room as well as shower/toilet unit. Comfy beds and we felt secure.
Wifi could have been a little stronger but was fine in/near to reception. We had the room with the fan which was fine but an aircon unit would have been nicer, our clothes never fully dried well.

This place felt like a home. You get what you paid for, it is 5 mins from the beach, very cozy, breakfast included, they even prepared a snack for me when I was leaving at 6 am for my flight. I could easily stay here for many more days. Port Barton is so far the best I visited in Philippines and I loved the family vibe in this accomodation.
Nothing at all. There is not AC, but it is stated in the booking and the fan was sufficient.

Staff were so lovely! Breakfast in the morning is simple but great! Pretty central location. Room was lovely, balcony was good. Very clean & we were always offered clean towels + sheets :) We had the fan only room and personally the fan was enough for us (did not need AC).
Bathroom floor was always a bit damp.

Our stay at Le Cou de Tou was delightful. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to help us book tours and arrange transportation. They even provided us with fresh towels during our stay. The atmosphere of the place was warm and had a resort-like feel. Additionally, it's conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and close to various restaurants. Without a doubt, if we find ourselves in Port Barton again, we will choose to stay here.
The wifi was a bit slow (bring a pocket wifi for backup), and the towels provided were thin and rough, but they served their purpose. We did experience a two-hour water outage, which was a bit inconvenient, especially after coming back from island hopping and looking forward to a refreshing bath. However, the staff explained that it was a general water interruption affecting all of Port Barton, so I can't hold them responsible. Nevertheless, having a water reserve would have been beneficial. Despite these minor drawbacks, I must say that this place is a great option for budget travelers like us.

I loved the stylish rooms, was great to have your own balcony, the room was cool enough with a fan as you had double doors you could also open to let in air. Breakfast was perfect, staff were happy to help with recommendations, transfers and motorbike rental. They had refillable water there 10p per litre which was really handy.
