We were reluctant, as soon as you walk in you are greeting with . Easy check in, welcome drink was really nice. Very calm, everything so clean, when you walk in your room, you smell the cleanliness. A great eating area. Its own bar/restaurant. Food is great and very reasonably priced. I really can’t emphasize more an amazing place.

I am a very picky person, and I can say there is nothing absolutely nothing I can say here. Amazing setting !!!

The common areas, the pool, the tropical garden, we could not have made a better choice than La Tortuga. The fact that the hotel is not on the main road/sea front makes it a much quieter place. The staff was amazing. We originally booked for 3 nights but then extended our stay for another 4 nights. The rooms were spacious. The location was great. There was a gym nearby. And there was yoga twice a week. The staff also accommodated any extra wishes.

The breakfast could have been a little more generous.

The property is very charming. It is a short walk to the beach, located in a quiet area. Upon arrival Jennifer checked us in and gave us cherry limade (delicious), she showed us to our beautiful room with an outside sitting area that has curtains so it is private. The room is two floors (bed on each floor upstairs bed looked bigger). Everything is painted concrete (which is very cool) (counters/shower). The bed was very comfortable and the shower water was hot. In the morning breakfast is served from 8-10 (coffee/tea/orange juice) pancakes/bread (butter and jam)/ eggs/ omelettes/ fresh fruit- it was perfect! They have a yoga area. The pool was clean and we witnessed the property being maintained- leaves were being picked up/pool skimmed. I am very picky and I have nothing negative to say about this property. I will definitely stay again

Nice and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful tropical garden with a nice pool. Good location. 10-20 minutes walk to the “clean” beach areas. 10 minutes walk to the center where you find shops, restaurants, party locations.

Too small breakfast for a normal eating men. When you ask for more they charge extra. I don’t thing this appropriate for a hotel in this price category. Others offer a buffet where you don’t have this issue.

Beautiful spacious villas with comfortable beds set around a beautiful pool (exactly like the photo), it is a very private space. Staff were so kind and helpful. Great breakfast every morning of fresh fruit, bread and eggs cooked to order. Great location just a 5 minute walk to the beach and loads of wonderful restaurants.

Nothing! But just a tip for other travellers - bring some earplugs as the crickets are loud at night!

The best hotel to stay in Las Terrenas. Calm and relax, close to everything, great pool especially in the evening. The owner and the stuff are very nice and helpfull. Thank you for the lovely stay!

I am always looking for places where I can bring my dog with me and La Tortuga and it's staff were so great and accomodating in this aspect. The entire property was adorable and the rooms were also very comfortable. Breakfast was super yummy and I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Its just a short walk to the beach and various places to eat in the 'village'.The design of the whole place was lovely, both inside and outside the bungalow, very creative. It was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Lovely well kept garden and pool. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff, it was a pleasure to meet them.

Very quiet room, in a tranquil setting with surrounding gardens. Nice pool, a bit chilly in December. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. Excellent customer service, Lidia. Good breakfast made by Rosa. Fulltime, friendly security.

Air conditioner could have worked a bit better.

Beautiful place to stay. Wonderful tropical garden en pool, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Las Terrenas again.

The rooms are a little outdated and could use a makeover.
