Very spacious SUPER SUPER clean room and bathroom. That's a 10! Nice balcony. Good and plenty choices breakfast. Nice reception staff! The sea side is very close!

The balcony handle door was kind of broken, so to open I had to be very careful not to broken it for good. The waitresses at breakfast was having some funny comments about other guests and colleagues, in our presence, careless if we can hear it. The big smile not always means professionalism.

Secure Quiet and close to all amenities and beaches. With adequate outdoor swimming pool, mini golf and pool table. Lovely meals (Seafood Paella a must) Also dog friendly

Almost nothing except the outdated bath/shower with half shower door hence letting water drip on the floor (poor Chambermaid should ask for a bonus). There is a bidet to compensate I guess

This hotel had everything I wanted for an enjoyable vacation at the beach in Fosca, Costa Brava. The rooms were clean, comfortable , air conditioned with daily maid service. The breakfast was a varied and delicious buffet and the evening meal also delicious. There was also a pool and the hotel was a short stroll to the beach. I have only good things to say about Hotel Ancora and would love to come back to the Costa Brava and Hotel Ancora.,

The WiFi was unreliable.

Great location very short walk to the picturesque beach/bay. Excellent food at a reasonable price in the restaurant lovely and full continental breakfast. Lovely pool, was a little too cold for me to swim in

A comfortable hotel 2 blocks from the beach with a great breakfast is a wonderful place to spend an affordable week in beautiful La Fosca. Our room was comfortable and clean with daily maid service.

The walls are thin so can hear noise from other rooms including the occasional dog barking from other rooms.

Such a wonderful quiet little hotel. The restaurant that is on site had one of the best meals that I had on my 30 day trip in Spain. Just a short walk to the beach. The only issue for me was that it was quite empty around the area.  Also, it was hard to find… I finally had to ask someone where it was.

The hotel is a family-run hotel and it's run with love. The family that runs it are all lovely and met our every request. The place itself is much larger than it looks in the photos, with outdoor space to relax and a large restaurant. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. It is a bit far from the center of Palamos but is very close to a beautiful beach with few places to eat or get drinks. We stayed here at the start of our walking trip up the Costa Brava and it was a perfect start to the trip.

The beds weren't the comfiest and it was a long walk to get food from a supermarket. There may have been closer options, but we were on foot and had to walk quite a ways.

Amazing location (less than 5 minute walk from Cala de la Fosca, beautiful beach(, very nice room (especially with the terrace giving a view on the beach) and fantastic team (super accommodating).

Classic older hotel in great condition, well kept up, and family run. They clearly aim to please. Quite good restaurant too. La fosca is a very beautiful location just on the edge of Palamos.
