We had a lovely stay at Aparthotel Ona Palamós. The apartment was comfortable and well-designed, with one cozy bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area, which worked perfectly for our needs. The bed was extra large and super comfy, and the pillows were just right, we slept like logs! The location is excellent, just a short stroll to the beach and close to the charming town center. The pool area was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A great option for couples or small families looking for a relaxing base to explore the Costa Brava!

The Air conditioning was weak and not very cold.

Very close to the beach, good mini-kitchen in the room with brand-new washing-up sponge+cloth+washing-up liquid in a pouch, to minimise waste. There was a dryer + broom on the balcony, where we could hang our swimming stuff, which was useful. Staff were helpful when we needed extra bedding.

Parking is not easy. Outside there are only limited spaces (about 20). The garage under the hotel is big, but the spaces are very, very tight, even for an average family car, not even an SUV or anything bigger. Parking costs 25 euros / night, which is steep if one's staying for more than one night. The controls for the lights were badly wired; the bedside lights could only be turned on/off together, not separately. There were 3 of us, but we only had 2 bath towels and no pillow + cover for the 3rd person.

The staff was very nice and the hotel has all the modern conveniences, including a pool and even a bidet. The location was good and the room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. 2 blocks from the beach was certainly nice.

My only complaint would be the maintenance on this relatively new hotel. The mini fridge did not work. A ceiling panel was damaged and hanging down a few inches in the bathroom. Also, the furniture is low-end and a shelf in the wardrobe just fell down when I placed some light-weight tees on it. Hey, get maintenance to do its job and the hotel is very nice!

I had a great stay at Ona Palamós. The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A special mention to El Houssaini at the reception – he was incredibly professional, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. He also gave us great recommendations for the best beaches and local restaurants, which made our trip even more enjoyable. His kindness and efficiency really stood out. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back!

Good breakfast and bed.

The cleaners were supposed to come on Tuesday (we were told this also on Tuesday morning), and we had left the wet towels on the floor waiting to be changed, the trash bins were full, and we were generally waiting for the cleaners so we could shower in peace etc. In the evening ee found out from reception that the cleaners wouldn't be able to come until Wednesday. We did get fresh towels from the reception, but the uncertainly and waiting all day was frustrating.

I stayed with my 2 adult daughters in the apartment without a kitchen. The room was spacious with a living area in which there was a bed under the sofa and a separate bedroom though no door in between. The crowd was mostly families, many from Spain and off course some Dutchies (who are everywhere in the world :) and other nationalities. The airco was fine and the 1 night we ate at the hotel the buffet was of good quality. It really is only 50 meters walk to the beach where you can also park your car for free. Staff was very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant and at the outdoor bar. We love the Palamos / Calonge are, have been there many times and more good times will certainly follow!

Breakfast was repetitive (6 night stay), scrambled eggs every day. I would have liked a bit more variety and also missed some cucumber and tomatoes. On the one saturday we stayed there was some goat cheese and brie, on the other days only slices of normal cheese. On the other hand my daughters loved the fact that there was oat milk and lactose free milk. Cleening was after 4 days, the ladies did not empty the basket in the bathroom. The parking garage is very narrow, not suitable for bigger cars. There are only 10 places available for the hotel.

very clean ,spacious room with balcony overlooking swimming pool. Excellent location, near beach, old town, a LIDL supermarket and bus station with excellent connection to other towns in the area - little tip speak to bus station for bus information, rather than tourist information - they were unfriendly and gave incorrect information!!. Friendly staff in hotel, good breakfast, wifi was more than adequate and exceptional value for money.

Evening meal options limited although in fairness the price for half board is so low that this was to be expected. Air conditioning not on, which again is understandable as it was out of main summer season (May) however room was south facing so even in a May sun it was particularly hot in the room after it had been sunny all day

The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location was great for beach and old town. The staff in reception were very helpful.

We would like a kettle in the room. The pool area was very dirty and was not cleaned at all. The sun loungers and tables were not clean and litter and bird droppings were very off putting. We were disappointed that the pool bar was not open.

The bed was extremely large and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean with a balcony. It was really helpful having a small fridge in the room and there was also a kettle. One had to provide one’s own tea or coffee. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety.There is a good sized pool. We wanted to visit Calella de Parafrugel, Llafranc and Timaru. These lovely resorts were not far away.

Our stay was part of some extended travel so we had a lot of stuff with us. This meant we found the lack of parking difficult . We had to leave some stuff in the car about 5 minutes walk away. Thankfully it did stay safe. We had two small niggles in the room. Th here was no convenient plug for the kettle so it had to go on the floor. The two bedside lights had to be either both on or off. They couldn’t be used separately.

Fantastic place, we had an excellent stay. You feel really well taken care of while at the same time the vibe is relaxed and easygoing.

Only small things: the TV screen was too small and there were hooks missing in the bathroom to hang clothes. We did not mind that there was no daily cleaning but we needed to change the garbage everyday by ourselves.
