We had to leave very early in the morning so missed the sit-down breakfast, however they were kind enough to make us a packed-up breakfast to take on the road with us Our daughters loved the space in the garden, the pool and playing darts together as a family, these were all much needed after a full day travelling with 2 young children. There was a microwave that we could us to heat up some food which was great as we had been on the road all day and didn't fancy sitting in a restaurant.

The shower in the bath leaked...my daughters loved this as I got a bit wet when washing their hair...We had a much needed laugh but it would be nice to get it fixed.

The location was perfect, with stunning views of the river and walking distance to nearby shops. The staff were incredibly friendly, resourceful, and went above and beyond—their recommendations for and activities were spot on. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was ideal for our family of four—spacious, clean, and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Friendly staff. Nice and tasty breakfast. Although the spa bath was large there was nothing very fancy about it. The shower was a nice surprise though. Pleasant location on the river.

The room was quite small. Untidy finishes in the room. Although there was just about enough parking it was rather cramped and it was easy to get parked in or park someone else in.

There were 3 of us staying in 2 rooms for one night, we drove up to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and returned for a further one night stay 10 days later. The Guesthouse is very conveniently located in the heart of Upington, feels safe, small, quaint, very clean and they provide the most abundant breakfasts. All the staff are extremely friendly. They provided a reasonably paid Airport pick up and drop off service.

Cannot like much. As my booking was cancelled as it was overbooked. I booked the night before and got calll next morning that the staff had already allocated room. Sadly no recourse was offered except to stay at another guesthouse. I was disappointed and those the staff were polite, they should have done more. Even if it was to invite me for breakfast or the spend time on the property. Really feel cheated on this booking.

We arrived late but they made a plan to still provide us with dinner and drinks, staff exceptionally friendly. Room really luxury with enough towels, toiletries, hair dryer etc. They even provided us with a menu to order breakfast on the go! It was really quiet, and peaceful, safe inside parking.

Can't think of anything I want changed, we really loved this place and will be back for sure!

The location was perfect, we were in Upington for a wedding. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was great, the staff very pleasant and helpful. And we loved the animals, especially Elvis 🥰

There was a bit of confusion with our 2 rooms, the extra single bed was in the double room instead of the family room. However, this didn't really affect us.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we felt very welcomed and cared for. We enjoyed the garden and pool directly at the riverside. The spacious rooms were very cosy and clean.

If you plan on staying in the President-suite, be aware that there is no real cooking facility in the kitchen.

Very nice, safe place on the river for a single person, couple or family staying overnight or a few nights. Child friendly. Has a few birds, bunnies, and cats outside and a nice lawn for kids to play on. Has a deck on the river for afternoon sundowners! Very friendly staff.

The parking is a bit small, but safe.

Good stop in town and close enough to walk to the Red Ox restaurant which is definitely worth a visit; Host (Morne) was very friendly and helpful and even spoilt us with a packed breakfast for our early ride out the next morning (he got up a 05h00 to make fresh toasted sandwiches for us to take with). Rooms were comfortable with a massive bathroom (shower and spa bath). And a well stocked bar fridge which was appreciated.

Pillows need to be replaced please. Otherwise the room was comfortable.
