Comfortable and welcoming, We had enjoyable drinks and apero in the bar and a nice, large room. Slightly less choice for breakfast than when we have previously stayed but still above average for this level of hotel. Quirky decor gives the Greet a nice fun atmosphere. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the town centre.

Pedestrian gate lock for the car park was broken, making it less than secure. Bathroom decor was a little tired and in need of a refresh.

We liked the secure gated parking nearby at €5 per day and many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The shared lounge was cozy and homely and the breakfasts were adequate. We left the car in the parking area and explored Evreax on foot.

We wondered if we'd become invisible as we were totally ignored for what seemed like a very long 5 minutes on arrival. Not the slightest acknowledgement from two staff discussing business on the other side of the reception desk. We hope not all their staff are so impolite.

Neat little hotel in the centre. Decor in reception and bar was cute and quirky. Dogs were allowed at €10 each per night. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that, but there's a fabulous boulangerie just around the corner that sold coffee, huge pains au chocolat and pains au raisins the size of dinner plates! Secure parking was very good, and an ancient VW campervan managed to get down the slope to the underground parking (and back up again the following morning!) VERY comfortable bed.

No air con, but I knew that up front.

Exceptional property. Excellent value for money. Budget price for such a wonderful experience. Location. Easy 20 min walk through gardens past cathedral from train. 5 min walk to large supermarket. An ibis look alike with quirky charm and ambience in the downstair communal area indoor and outside seating area and restaurant cafe. Staff were all welcoming. Room super clean super comfortable super quiet and functional. With fast wifi Easy midday check in and out. So much better than the late pm and early out of many places. Very highly recommend.

The room was a good size with a comfy bed and good shower. All the staff were very welcoming.and helpful. Dinner menu was limited but well cooked and tasty. Good breakfast for the price that we paid.

Hotel was difficult to find from the address given. We had not known that parking was an extra charge. 5 euro was not a problem and our car was parked securely. We were woken about 5am by a disturbance on our floor (a family disagreement) but this was not the hotel’s fault. We received an apology the next morning when we went to breakfast

The hotel is in the centre of Evreux with only a few steps to the town centre with the most wonderful flower decoration imaginable. The huge cathedral is worth a visit if not a journey. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was heavenly: Everything fresh with the delicious products of Normandy (cream cheese, camembert, fresh apple juice etc.) and wonderful breead and croissants. For the astonishingly low price this hotel was a find.

This is a quirky and welcoming hotel, just a short walk from the centre of Evreux, which is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom. The secure parking was very useful and easy to use and the restaurant was really excellent - simple but delightful food.

You have to have your wits about you to navigate here. It was little noisy in the late evening.

The overall stay was good. I would like to thank the gentleman at the reception that was prompt to help us up on arrival since our flight was late and only one person managed to travel on that day. I was in contact as well to inform the issue and the quick response was spot on .

On our last day, the hot water wasn’t working properly.

Wonderful staff - very friendly, welcoming and happy to speak in English (as our French is very limited). Comfy beds, large TV, great size room and central location. The onsite secure parking (5 euro per night) was appreciated as well. We enjoyed the bar and foyer with welcoming decor and comfy chairs too. Very close to city centre with a variety of options to eat and drink. Stunning Cathedral and museum / gallery with free admission to both. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

No air con which is understandable given the price. Our room was on the first floor which looked out onto ducting and an outside flat roof. As such, we were not sure if it was secure to keep the window open overnight and used the outside metal shutter. This meant a warm night. Next time, will avoid the problem and ask for a room above the first floor or visit outside of summer. Would definitely stay again given the positives overall.

Convenient for visiting the beautiful city of Evreux. Lovely bar and restaurant with very friendly staff. Secure parking at 6€ a night was very welcome as our car is always packed to the brim!

Just wish the room had its own kettle and facilities to make a hot drink. We had a very long drive to get there and could really have done with a lovely hot cup of tea. Instead, we had to have wine in the bar! ........well, it would have been rude not to as it was Happy hour!! 🎉
