Still trying to work out why this hotel is where it is, very remote location with little to nothing nearby. The staff are excellent from cooking breakfast to room maintenance, they do it all. One issue...we had room 210 for 8 days and the hotel was virtually empty and yet on two occasions they put guests in the room above us, and both times, the guests were extremely noisy, moving furniture at 11pm until midnight. Also, the hotel publicity material advertises that one of the beaches is 0.6km away...bit of a mistake there, it's not. Pool lovely, breakfast lovely, staff lovely. Just needs a tiny bit of polishing.

This was a comfortable, quiet, very clean place. Not fancy and I was happy that it was this way. They food was delicous!!! Had two meals here and loved them both. Good value for the quality. The staff were awesome!!! So friendly and helpful, even helped me schedule a car to BKK. Would definitely stay there again.

Only thing I did not like is that my water in the fridge was frozen solid. So when I needed it late at night I could not drink it. But I understand that happens. ha ha ha

Breakfast was a choice of scrambled or fried eggs plus real sausage and bacon, coffee and toast. The large all-day breakfast was even better. For us the location was ideal, nice and quite. The place has some 40kWs of solar and EV charging was free. It was nice to wake up in the morning without my back hurting, bed was very comfy. The large saltwater swimming pool and Sala's which even had a roof fan. Staff were very polite and helpful and always had a smile.

Not really anything, well maybe the gadget still cleaning the pool at 7am. I had to dodge the hose while swimming back and forth. Guess they could have started the pool cleaning earlier. Coffee machine took a bit of understanding but when you finally worked it out, coffee was good

Excellent location, rooms are spacious and very clean. Restaurant food is 1st class with a wide range of menu and all at a reasonable price, with a large selection of beers. And an excellent pool area. A hidden gem and a short walk (cab) to the bar area. Staff and management are very friendly and want to please. Note:- Beds were phanomally comfortable.

No dislikes with the facility. But not sure how far away the beach is. But I never looked, although it cannot be far.

It’s difficult to write a review for Hideaway Resort because it is hard to describe all of the unbelievable attention to detail and unique design the owner (Craig) has put into this hidden paradise. He literally put his heart, sweat and blood into building Hideaway from the ground up over a five year period. The service, cleanliness, and comfort are top notch. The pool is the super clean and surrounded by cabanas, lounge chairs and leads to a fantastic bar. Be sure and take advantage of the breakfast; cooked upon order and served up hot, there’s no buffet which ensures everything is fresh. The bar/restaurant is extensive and seem ideal for large gatherings. The guests are clearly the #1 priority for Craig and this is reflected by his staff as well. When returning to the area, Hideaway Resort will be the only place I stay from this point forward. No need to look any further.

I've experienced the best Thai hospitality so far with Craig's Team - more so with Craig. He went all out to ensure that I arrive timely for my meeting. It was unfortunate that I wasn't able to book a taxi for my morning meeting. Nevertheless, Craig came and saved my day! I particularly loved his restaurant, and the breakfast portion was huge (for a small eater like myself). The pool was so absolutely enticing to go for a swim, and I'll definitely come back one day for a vacation to relax by the pool with a nice bottle of beer. Cheers to Craig and your team. Very nice hotel clean,friendly staff,big rooms,amazing Pool and bar a little more out of the nightlife as expected but this is not an issue as nightlife is only a few bars with .....,some ladies

This is the point why i didn't give a 9 or 10.With such an amazing looking bar restaurant the quality of drinks and food need to be improved ,the prices aren't low so investing in more proffesionals for kitchen and bar would make this a 5 star hotel.

I recently stayed at Hideaway Hotel and had an exceptional experience. The hotel's cleanliness stood out with spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas. Convenience is another highlight, as it's ideally located near Samesan Island. The swimming pool is impressively large.Additionally, the trampoline added a fun, unique touch to our stay, especially for families with kids. Overall, [Hotel Name] offers a clean, convenient, and entertaining environment I highly recommend.

It took a bit of searching to actually locate the resort, but once found it was fabulous. The Hideaway is almost new and there is not a scratch yet. The pool is exceptional as is the restaurant that overlooks the pool. There are cabanas for those guests that prefer to be in the shade while enjoying the atmosphere of the pool. The owner was very helpful when I asked questions. I'd rate The Hideaway as the best accommodation in Ban Chang.

This place is highly recommended, the one who accommodate us (man speaking in English) was so polite, helpful and made us so comfortable just like the overall facilities, cleanliness, huge room, pets friendly as well, the swimming pool is clean and spacious with comfortable benches around. Our stay is terribly amazing, for sure we will go back again.

Just only the breakfast which is not a buffet, maybe because of few guests during our stay, but it is commendable.
