We spent two very comfortable nights at De Zwaan at the end of May. This hotel is located at the end of the main street in the tranquil, elegant and rather special small town of Delden. That means easy access to the shops, cafes, and railway station. Our room overlooked the street but there was little noise at any time from traffic, bicycles or pedestrians. Reception was slick and efficient and we were allocated room 3. Up the somewhat steep stairs we discovered a very nice bedroom and shower room. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our sleep. Television channels included BBC1, BBC2 and BBC News channel. We ate both evening meals and breakfasts in the hotel. The service was good, food well presented, plentiful and tasty. Good value for money although the breakfast possibly on the pricey side at €17.50 each. This hotel can be recommended with no hesitation and when we return to Delden we would certainly look forward to staying here again.

Lovely boutique hotel in a nice small town. Good sized room and shower. Friendly and helpful staff.

Only one window opened, and by only a few centimtres. The room was very stuffy. Breakfast was the most expensive on a 2 month tour of Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.

the kitchen exhaust blows air direcly in room no. 8 and on warm summerdays it's not pleasant at all. The second night was in room 1 and this was a perfect room also with the mobile airco unit, spacious roum and bath.

Liked lots of things. Size of room and quality and quantity of breakfast stand out.

Only minor things: coffee in room not resupplied after first night (but easy to get a coffee downstairs), towels were unnecessarily refreshed after first night).

Emails are not being responded to. I asked about availability of specific diet products, like lactose and gluten free, but my question has never been answered, and therefore, no breakfast was available for me.

Gorgeous hotel in beautiful village of Delden. Fabulous location, great facilities and spacious room for two adults and two kids. Loved the walk through the countryside at the rear of the property. Staff were very helpful and enjoyed our stay

the pillows on the beds were very uncomfortable, big bulky very hard square things. we asked for softer ones but they couldn’t provide. also fresh air very limited as in one bedroom the windows which could open were the tiniest ones

A very friendly athmosphere in a charming little town. Frindly staff, good service and a very capable kitchen. We will be back.

Clean and comfortable, in a superb little village. Parking close by and staff exceptionally friendly.

Breakfast was a little disappointing, service excellent but the choice a bit limited.
