Our room was a small twin room with shower room. We were 2 friends sharing the room and it was a bit of a squeeze but we didn’t spend that much time in it. Our view was onto the street but the location was perfect ( there are rooms with a beautiful view on to the harbour)and only a few minutes walk to the sea front. The hotel itself was a bit dated but had a great atmosphere and the staff and other guests great. It seems it’s the sort of hotel that people return to again and again.

The shower room could have been configured better. The breakfast buffet area could have also been laid out better with a bigger area to place your plates and cups whilst choosing your food and pouring drinks.

The room that I had, had a a sea view with a balcony. It was very picturesque. The room was not air conditioned, but was cool.

Whilst the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful, we did find it was hard work connecting with the staff in the restuarant. There were a couple of occasions where we had to go and find our own condiments, or track down a member of staff to achieve something. Could have done with a bottle of water in the room and perhaps, tea and coffee facilities, though tea and coffee were available downstairs. Breakfast was very basic continental. Quite sufficient, but would have liked slighly more selection.

The hotel was perfectly located , over looking the sea. It had an old worldly charm . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t book breakfast but I wished we had as it is served in a charming room overlooking the sea. We booked a car park space which was located in the grounds on an old house a few mins walk from the hotel . I’m glad we booked the space as there isn’t parking near the hotel.

The bed room although very clean and nicely decorated was a little small and the bed was up against a wall making it difficult to get in and out .

Is there a better English word than ‘Traditional’ to describe the ambience at the Printania? I stayed here as a lad 75, yes, 75 years ago and so little - apart from bathroom facilities - seem to have changed, but that’s the charm of the place. If you need ‘Modern’ there’s no shortage of examples elsewhere but the sea view here is delightful, the staff helpful and our evening meal was superb.

OK, it’s a bit of a drag having to walk up to the private car park but if you need to pause, enjoy the view on the way up!

We had a room with a sea view, the sound of the waves was a nice wake-up call in the morning. For those who like quiet and lazy mornings, this will not be very suitable, life in this part of the hotel starts early in the morning :) Thanks to the interior of the ancient hotel, you can travel back in time, some 100-200 years, it's amazing! If you are traveling by car, you should book parking for your car in advance, finding a parking place on the street is a real success, and parking is quite a challenge.

We only had a one night stay and didn't have time to even sample breakfast in the morning. However, the hotel is just gorgeous. It's old fashioned, charming and welcoming. The staff were so friendly, helpful and engaging. We'll definitely be back - and for longer, next time.

We stayed in the Gulf Stream villa. Lovely studio apartment. Very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Looks even better than the pictures! Sea views from every window. Well located in Dinard, a very pleasant and genteel resort. Helpful and easygoing staff. Good value.

Minor quibbles... The kitchen could be better organised, the cupboards are too high and washing up was awkward. Parking area a bit tight and rather expensive. The balcony was fine.. but not the large terrace shown in some of the pics.

hotel staff were excellent, and being able to secure a parking spot just made things so much better. the restaurant was very accommodating for our late booking, fabulous location and view.

unfortunately the hotel is a little bit tired and could benefit with some refitting.

Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff. Loved the ambience, felt like going back in time with the 1890's furniture. Large room with soft towels, expensive drapes. Felt like a lot of care had gone into the quality and decor. Exceptionally clean. The breakfast was very good a great variety.

The parking seemed quite expensive

Our room had a beautiful view and was furnished with Breton antiques, including a lit clos, which was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. There was a beautiful view over the Rance and it was close to the coast walk to the main beach and to the town. Altogether a rather quirky hotel, full of character.

It was a little difficult to get a pre-dinner drink in the lounge/bar and getting in and out of the lit clos could be a challenge for anyone with a disability
