Great value for money. Central location, good room size, A/C worked perfectly, clean room with good water pressure...nice balcony to watch the life below. The lady owner didn't speak English well but nothing Google Translate can't resolve. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On one day I found complementary pastries in my room which was a nice touch. There is a nice supermarket next door that has everything you may need. I was able to walk in the night to get some food. It is safer than it may look at night. Some guests have reported noise feom cars on the street...didn't really affect me as I always carry ear plugs. It is easier to wear them than silence the world. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

Nothing really....it is not expensive and meets expectations..slightly surpasses based on previous reviews.

The hotel name couldn't be more accurate. It is right in the centre of Sao Tome city and made exploring the town on foot very easy. All the sites are within walking distance. The breakfast is excellent, albeit without a massive amount of choice and there is a coffee shop/bar on the ground floor. When I had to cancel my 2nd stay, the hotel very kindly waived the cancellation charge.

The stairs, (dark wood) weren't lit which made getting up them in the evening a bit dangerous. Being central has many benefits. Unfortunately, quiet isn't one of them. There appears to be an open air nightclub nearby with music playing through the night. The music wasn't unpleasant, but it did make sleeping difficult. The fact that this isn't mentioned in other reviews suggests it's not a regular occurrence.

The room was comfortable and clean. They had one staff member who spoke great English and helped me with car hire. The breakfast was ok. There’s an adjoining cafe which is nice but everyone seems to smoke. Great location in the centre of town.

Their communication re airport pick up was poor and I had to keep asking them. Despite being on the top floor, there was a lot of noise from the street and I needed earplugs to sleep.

The location is exceptional, everything is in the walking distance from the hotel. The only thing which may more far is a beach where you can swim, but it is no problem with all transport facilities. The personnel is welcoming and always ready to help.

The breakfast was ok, but a bit boring - same thing every day. There could be some more variety, especially taking into account that there are many people staying there - especially some meet meals.

Extremely friendly staff. Flexible with our change of booking. Beautiful colonial-style decorations, including fresh flowers in the staircase. Great Wifi and air condition. Good (if a bit boring) breakfast. Very clean, we also had a balcony. Especially for the price, this was an excellent choice.

Being in the city centre, it was a bit noisy at night (barking dogs, loud cars) but that is not their fault.

Very central hotel with a restaurant on site. Included breakfast was standard and ok. Generator started in seconds after every power cut and they happened frequently. Fridge in the room is a big bonus. AC worked excellent. Intermar supermarket is on next block. Plenty of money changers outside.

City center and parking everywhere. Walkable to every corner of the city. Pretty clean compared with all the other locations available in the country. Breakfast is good.

Breakfast was a bit slow. The light bulbs in the rooms are really weak and dont give much light during the night (at least in the 3 rooms we had).

Very Central and our First stay in Sao tome. A lot of people Like drivers and guides come to this place, so we were connected to a lot of options and people, which was great for us.

Not a lot of the stuff spoke english. Communicating sometimes was a bit difficult. Also the rooms lead to a road that was one of the Main streets-a bit loud at night ä

Staff were very friendly, breakfast was amazing and it was very clean. The location was perfect, and mummy felt looked after. Thank you dona Zezinha e dona Helena for looking after mum Domingas. She misses you all.❤️ I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the islands.

Some improvement required with bathroom plumbing.

The location right in the middle of the city is definitely the best attribute. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the AC is a bonus. If you stay on a room facing the street it might be a bit noisy during the night/early morning. But overall is a good value for what they charge.
