I really liked the historical details and architecture of the building. It's like going back in time. Cooking facilities are present, as well as a common room. Nice to meet other people. I booked a great and spacious room. The breakfast offers all you need. Nice and fresh products.

It could be clearer in the provided information on Booking.com that you have the order blankets an sheets additionally, if you don't bring your own. It was a litlle hidden. It's still very good very good value for money when you pay extra for breakfast and sheets.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice wooden balcony. The furniture and the hostel itself have a classic Sweden charm and the shared kitchen was a sure plus. The room had a large private bathroom with window (which is not very common in Sweden for my experience).

It wasn't a problem for us but I would suggest to state clearly that hostels in Sweden (usually) do not provide sheets and towels "by default" but these needs to be rented (or brought from home indeed).

Picturesque, cozy, practical and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. An sms the afternoon before arrival with info about code and key. Clean. Astonishing views from room window. Spacious room! Shared bathroom, shower and kitchen. Easy clean-up after the stay when just staying in one room or just 100 SEK to order the cleaning.

Small eating area if more than one family/group would try to eat there if staying on second floor of Lilla Ekebacken.

The house is amazing, full of history and artifacts preserved with care - from tower clocks to built-in room heating and a Dala common room with an incredible decoration. The staff has been extremely helpful in accomodating my early check-in and with wise advise for a nice hike to a waterfall :-) Rooms are organised by groups, so the shared bathroom and kitchen is only for 2 in my case. Comfortable & spacious room. Fitted kitchen space. There's a TV room as well.

It's a 20 minute walk from Orsa itself - not a big deal but good to keep in mind in case you're walking. Extra cost if you don't do your cleaning - everything is provided so that you can easily do so :-)

Good value, friendly accommodation near the skiing resort. Easy check in, simple but spacious and clean room.

Kitchen was a little under-euqipped in terms of pots/pans. Ok for us as we brought microwaveable food but any "proper" cooking would have been difficult. Bring your own kitchen towels (we had been before and knew)

In this group of large old homes we stayed in Ekbacken, our room with bathroom was comfortable. The shared kitchen was good and the lounge area excellent with plenty of seating options and a small outside balcony. We found the property comfortable and easy to relax in. A 1.5km walk to town & the train station.

Friendliness of the staf, parking space available, also with the annex, various options available from hiring bed linen to breakfast if you didnit to make it yourself. Nearby shop for groceries en petrol station

Great location for outdoor pursuits: ice skating on the lake 5 mins by car, Orsa grönklitt with cross country and alpine skiing 20 mins. We stayed in the separate house "torpet" right by the church. Be prepared for time travel, the house is totally 60ies/70ies typical Swedish decor, we loved it. Room spacious, child had a separate small room behind ours. Kitchen well-equipped, nice Lounge.

Nothing, but it could potentially get rather cramped if all rooms are occupied. Add it was wee were mostly on our own.

Cosy, plenty of space, wonderfully old fashioned, very nice and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. One of the best we ever had. Also a lot of vegan options.

The bathroom was shared and got very wet on the floor with showering, but then again: still a very good price-quality ratio.

Trunna Vandrarhem is situated in a historical building, so every room and part of the house breathes history - it's an amazing place and a unique experience. I also loved the excellent breakfast which was served on a buffet table in the beautiful dining room. Not to forget the kindness of the manager: when my arrival was delayed and I came after closing time, he very kindly let me in and helped me to find my room - thank you again! The room where I stayed was actually an apartment complete with a kitchen und a small veranda (next to a wooden old church painted in Faluröd). I loved it!
