We had a fabulous stay! We were greeted by accommodating, helping and relaxed personell (family business). We had the family room (it has its own shower!). It’s always a compromise to sleep with four people in one room, especially when dad tends to snore, but thats on us and not Backlunda. Breakfast was exzellent and above our expectations for a B&B. There’s a terrass on the second floor with an amazing view over the Siljan lake and its surroundings.

We were a family of 6 staying one night in a villa. This is a fascinating home with a noticeably higher standard than average in Sweden. Spacious living room, three slipping rooms, clean comfortable beds, outdoor space, glassy veranda... In a word, everything one needs for a short or long vacation. The hosts are extremely friendly and careful.

I could not communicate with hosts via Booking messenger, they simply did not read those messages, my impression. I encounter such a lack of communication via Booking over and over again. I could reach the hosts only after finding their direct e-mail address and then got an immediate reaction.

One of the best accommodations that we've stayed at! The owners are very kind and always happy to recommend places to visit in the area. The cabin that we stayed in had a rustic feeling and the whole place instills calmness. Besides having all the facilities that we needed, our stuga also came with a sauna and EV charging, something that we didn't expect! We will definitely come back!

stayed in the split apartment view was amazing and the immediate surrounding area very serene! Kitchen had the basics required to pull together an easy breakfast. the property was spotlessly clean and check in was very smooth. Staff were incredibly warm and full of smiles upon arrival. Beds were comfy.

The only thing stopping me from giving a full 10 is that fridge was off with doors open on arrival so was unusable for our 1 night stay. And the property and inner furnishings felt a little aged but that was to be expected given the area and style.

Location, friendly hosts

Nothing negative but some vegan / vegetarian breakfast option and room waste removal more often. Otherwise, a beautiful place to stay and very nice hosts. Great location to nature and Dalhalla.

Very friendly welcome, awesome rooms, beautifully equipped with old coutryside stuff. The breakfast was a gastronomic experience. This place also gives to guests plenty of documentation for walking, hiking,skiing etc in the neighborhood.

I can't find anything to say, apart that we would have liked to stay more nights !

Everything was wonderful—from the warm and welcoming couple who own the property, to the cozy and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was simple yet delightful, and the stunning view of the lake made the experience unforgettable.

We were a large group and arrived at an unpredictable time, our hosts were extremely accommodating of this and communicated well. Facilities were awesome and the beds were comfy. Decor is cute and has a homely vibe. Was perfect for us and amazing value!

Property was very beautiful. Location was also perfect. And more to it hosts were very helpful and nice. We had an amazing time there. Highly recommend the place if you visit rattvik.

The property is close to the lake and has a huge space. So cozy and clean.

We were not able to warm up the patio. I am not sure what’s wro g with the thermostat.
