Behavior of Reception Staff. When I arrived, no body greeted. Infact we arrived 30 minutes before the check in time and they behaved rudely. We were not even asking for a early check in, our only request was to keep our luggage in the concierge. But got a rude attitude.

Every detail was clearly considered with the guest’s comfort in mind. The staff were not only professional but truly caring and attentive. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Qafqaz Riverside Hotel! Our cottage was spacious, beautifully maintained, and came with a lovely patio where we could relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. The breakfast buffet was excellent—a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. We also tried in-room dining for dinner, and it exceeded our expectations—delicious food delivered promptly and with care. A special thanks goes to Vusal Mursalov, who runs the hotel with incredible harmony and professionalism. He and the entire staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Every recommendation from Vusal Bey was spot on, and we truly appreciated the personal attention he gave to me and my family during our stay. The location is perfect—very close to all the main attractions in Gabala, including Gabaland, which is just next door and a must-visit for families. One of the highlights was the cable cart experience, which conveniently departs right from the hotel—an unforgettable adventure! We’re already looking forward to coming back. The hospitality of the Azerbaijani people was truly admirable — they were kind, considerate, and very accommodating. I accidentally left behind my gold, and the cleaning staff were honest enough to hand it in, allowing me to recover it. Ali Ahmed is someone you can absolutely trust; he truly goes out of his way to help whenever needed. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. The views alone gave the hotel a unique charm, and the gardens were absolutely stunning.

Well, this review is purely for the improvement of the hotel as they have an excellent location. The rooms are good even food has variety for Indian tourists They have recently renovated considering that there are some teething issuee like housekeeping and room service Our hotel stay started with a hiccup, but they made it up for it by upgrading us to the Royal suite, which has an amazing view, and it is insanely hugely in size Still I would recommend this place, considering they improved on the above dept.

The location of this hotel is truly spectacular. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the view from the balcony is breathtaking and unparalleled in Azerbaijan. The hotel's design is luxurious, and the staff were both friendly and professional. The cleanliness was impeccable, making it my favorite hotel in the country. The retro music played in the restaurant added a perfect touch, enhancing the experience for tourists.

However, the Wi-Fi connection was weak, and the outdoor pool was a bit too cold, with a somewhat lackluster vibe. I suggest enhancing the pool area with more lively elements like a TV wall, music, and tables, along with better lighting in the evening.

Rooms were clean and comfortable Hotel had lots of facilities - gym, pool, sauna Breakfast was good - we are vegetarians and were able to get lots of options Location was close to the Tufandag mountain resort - also very nice views

Heating was an issue - you cannot adjust the temperature of your room Hot water in the shower is another issue - it wasn't hot enough and sometimes it was even cold. I have seen similar comments from other guests and hopefully the hotel takes care of the issue once and for all Shower wasn't working - they sent a technician immediately and got it fixed Hot
