Instead of booking the usual suspects of the big chains, we elected to go to a smaller, boutique hotel and glad we did. It was an instant luxury home for us, and very romantic! The grounds are beautiful to a surrealistic extent, and our room was fantastic in an old fashioned way, with a wonderful terrace and view. The staff all made you feel special and welcomed, and the restaurant served generally very good food. We would be more than happy to stay there again.

Could have provided bath gowns and more than two towels.

It is a small boutique resort in which every room faced the sea across a beautifully kept garden and three swimming pools, one for children. The breakfast was excellent and sedrved in the same space as lunch and dinner. Dinner was beautifully prepared and presented Thai cuisine with a choice of interior or interior tables. All staff were very friendly and efficient and the owner came to talk to all guests in turn during breakfast.

Mostly everything was first rate, but for those with walking difficulties the lack of a lift could have been a problem.

Devasom is a hidden gem & we couldn't be happier to have stayed here. On reaching the property, the first sight you get is of the heart shaped tree & the clear sea. While there are amazing hotels, all the staff at Devasom go the extra mile to ensure little touches of joy add up to make the entire experience magical! Right from candlelight dinners, a care package for our early morning check-out to Bangkok, to the free cocktail in the evening. Devasom has raised the bar for an exceptional stay & I cannot wait to stay again!

Everything! This is my happy place! This was my second visit and this place is exceptional. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, with fantastic staff and the most delicious food. The hotel has a calm ambience and is a wonderful place to relax. The pool area overlooks the small beach and the grounds and villas are beautifully cleaned and maintained. Nearby Hua Hin offers bars and restaurants and a small night market.

Style and character. Huge bedroom (signature suite) extremely comfortable. Small exquisite details and touches in the rooms not had anywhere else in Thailand e.g. rose petals for bathing! Luxury robes! We had the pleasure of talking to the owner and learning about the hotel history. Staff all lovely and attentive! Loved our stay here!!

Having to leave

The property was great! the staff were attentive, helpful and polite. the room was huge and the bed, tv, bathroom were fantastic. the resort itself is lovely and peaceful.everything was spotless, the grounds, communal areas, the pool! it was just wonderful. there are 4 free yoga sessions per week, Tuesday & Thursday 4-5pm and Sat & Sun 7-8am. the food at the resort was very high end. very delicious and tasty. there’s also a but 1 get 1 free happy hour deal 2-5pm every day

the location was the only downside. there isn’t much to do in the area, when I was there the tide was high so no beach walks. you can easily taxi into hua hin or the hotel provides a free shuttle 3x per day but the last shuttle back is at 6pm.

We love everything about this place. The villas are lovely. The pool is divine. The views are gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The owner loved to come a chat with people at breakfast time.

It’s a house of tranquility to retreat from the stressful world. Perfect to hang out and relax.

It becomes a little bit old with the time, which is suiting it. But in terms of a marvellous hygiene, the hotel should pay more focus on the shower area in the bathroom.

Beautiful Pristine Property with great food and service

They asked us to pay 200 Baht for a pair of slippers which was most probably left at the pool. Left a bad taste on departure especially after paying so much as we had four villas

We thought this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in in Hua Hin, easy 15 minute drive to get to by taxi, wonderful staff, amazing breakfasts and dinners, and a great quiet beach and amazing sea side villa
