The place is very lovely with all you could need already included or prepared. There is an automat with snacks and drinks, a microwave, dishes, hot water and tea variety, for you until 10 pm. The exceptionally friendly and supportive staff helps you with everything you need and was nounable to find yourself. Breakfast deserves a separate highest rate - the best for such a price ever, I absolutely recommend it!

This is just a minor comment that public transport in Wismar is not as available and various as in big cities, so check and plan accordingly and discuss with staff in advance the best options.

Quiet place on the edge ow town Wismar. Wooden swedesh style of buildings. Nice, clean and modern. Place for parking, easy check-in and check-out. Very good breakfest in the main building. Place for store your bikes.

Just maybe espresso coffie was missing at the breakfest, nothing more to complain.

Room was clean and bathroom was very good. At £60, this is one of the most valuable for your money. Vending machine for water and drinks. Free wide parking, easy to access from any where if you have a car.

Room is very small and you can enter bed only in one direction. Location wise nothing is in a walkable distance, even the nearest restaurant is some 15 minute walk.

Everything was well thought out, from the room design to the other facilities. Secure bicycle storage was available, and I appreciated having hot water and tea bags in the reception area. A perfect hotel for an overnight stay on a cycling tour.

Nice and helpful staff, great breakfast, good family room, plenty of parking, short walk to town. Great value for money.

Only minor things really. More like a bit irritating rather than being things I didnt like, per se. Check in was a bit of a faff, having to use the separate terminal. Bit of a struggle to get in and out of bed. A lot of tiny insects flying around on the patio at breakfast.

Breakfast was exceptional. Room was quite new and very clean. I liked the wooden houses and the bike shed.

The bicycle racks in the shed. Would have liked more modern ones that do not damage the rims.

The warm welcoming staff was an absolute "plus" as well as the overal Scandinavian charme. And I must say they serve the most divers breakfast I have ever seen.

I know I tend towards perhaps too many enthusiastic 10/10 endorsements here on Booking.com (hosts after all are usually doing their best), but Schwedenhaus in Wismar is possibly the best place we've ever stayed. Ever. Fabulous rooms, brilliantly conceived, lovely staff, and the best breakfast (value, quality, range, volume) on the planet. Wow! Thanks.

Bed size was great yet for unfit or elderly folk it's not ideal to get in and out of. Room size could be adjusted to enable side space for bed.

Cheap stay for one night. Good breakfast and parking possibilities. 5 min to Wismar w car.

No AC and hard to have window open in bunk bed room due to no mosquito net. Staff did not speak English.
