Close to the beach, well maintained hotel, good beds and air conditioning

Kitchen equipment as minimum (eg no siccors, bottle openers, wineglasses, dishwasher liquid, dish towel). Breakfast was rather poor. Probably ok assortment, but very little or nothing of everything (we came 9:00 and still open until 10:30 and only 2 guest present). Family of four will not managed with 4 slices of white bread , 3 slices of ham, or 3 slices of melon. We waited 5 minute and 3 eggs were refilled during that time, so we decided to eat breakfast in our room instead. Breakfast is an important part of our hotel, but unfortunately this was the big negative point of our visit. Following days not better (and hardly any guest, considering the size of the hotel)

Lovely clean and comfortable apartment. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Really good atmosphere. Loved the two snack bars and main restaurant " Meltemi" has a very good varied menu. Delicious food and very fair prices. Absolutely great location. 2 min walk to Lee Beach and so close to restaurants and bars.

Only improvement (in my opinion) would be food storage area above floor level in self catering apartments. This might possibly help if there are ants around 😉 and maybe a tiny container of washing up liquid which could come from the amount of large bottles left behind by guests and a small scrubby sponge.

The hotel was convenient for the beach and Pefkos evening entertainment. The rooms were spacious, clean and included sufficient basic furniture and fittings. We used the small balcony most days. The hotel controlled the use of the air-condition/electrics by only issuing one room key which meant you could not leave it on whilst out of the room, but this was not an issue for us. The receptionists were particularly welcoming and very helpful when we needed to arrange anything.

Very nice friendly welcoming by staff, nice large appartment, we stayed in a 5 person appartment. one bedroom with 2 beds and 3 separate beds in the living room, big terrace with table and chairs and two sunbeds . There are two pools at the resort with a lot of sunbeds, but unfourtenatly a lot of guests are claiming the sunbeds already early morning while they are not there yet, they are leaving their towels there, so other guests have no space anymore. There are two big restaurants/bars near the both pools and a supermarket onsite for all your needs. The beach is at walking distance(100m) and the street is full of restaurants, little shops, all at short walking distance.

The aircon in the bedroom was unfourtenately not really good cooling anymore, but just okay, we did not bother to mention this, but it needs maintenance the terrace could have an umbrella or sunshade cover as it is in the full sun all day.

The location and the friendliness of all the staff

Only one room key per room. This made it very awkward when travelling with a larger group. My daughter took her baby back at night to get her settled. When it was time for us to go back we had to knock my daughter up to let us in which very often ended up with waking the baby up. We asked for a second key but was told NO. Not ideal at all.

Staff were friendly and super helpful, everything was clean and they accommodated a late check out

Having to put all toilet paper into a waste bin in the bathroom each day but it wasn't cleaned each day so I had to relocate my waste tissue to a different outside bin as it was a little smelly in the heat.

The Matina is conveniently located for all the highlights of Pefkos. … the staff in the people bar go the extra mile to make your stay so enjoyable. The pool is spacious and has plenty of sun beds

As a non- smoker it was sometimes unpleasant to sit on my balcony or have the door open as neighbours were smoking.

great location, close to many beautiful beaches. off season is in my opinion the true season since its not too hot but hot enough to go to the beach everyday. not too many people and everything is much cheaper.

cant think of anything i didnt like, its not luxary, you get what you pay for.

Very close to the beach, has a lovely restaurant with great food. Staff were fantastic, couldn’t have been anymore friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great and well worth adding on as there isn’t many places doing breakfast close by.

Pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable so take your own if you’re fussy!

Friendly staff, great breakfast. Location right by the sea. Decent pool for swimming.

Limited on site parking. . Rooms were basic for self catering.. so We just ate out. No tea towels. Washing sponges etc
