This place is like walking into a design magazine. Everything is so well taken care of, naturally, without being pretentious, arrogant or bold. The concept of “slow and responsible holiday” embraced by the owners permeates every corner of one’s experience and attracts guests of a similar mindset. We loved just hanging around, observing the simple beauty around us ( local plants, comfy sofas, generous hand made mugs) and being surrounded by strangers that seemed to be very aligned with our lifestyle. The place attracts likeminded people whether they are family with kids, couples of influencers, families with ados, older couples. The staff is there without being pushy, they just really want to help in a discrete and sincere way. No fake smiles, but always a ‘yes’ if it is possible.

The beach was close by but disappointing… it is a functional beach not a touristic one. But the hotel helps organise day trips to other nicer beaches or gives you bikes to move around.

Small boutique hotel with nice decor, comfortable facilities and excellent owners who were helpful with all requests and went out of their way to accommodate us. Even contacting me after we left to make sure that we had got home okay due to issues at Bastia airport. The heated pool was a really nice touch. Breakfast was generous with a varied choice.

Location into the town is a bit far (1.3 miles) for anyone without a car. Taxis are not that easy to come by although the hotel did a great job of getting this arranged for us. Limited balcony privacy may not suit everyone. Anyone staying more than a few nights may find the lunch & dinner menus a bit restrictive. They are also all in French. An English version would have been welcomed.

Beautiful and well decorated hotel and room. The seats and beds at the pool are really comfortable and beautiful. Pool was great. Breakfast was good with local and well selected products. The pine trees in the gardenand gorgeous and theview to the bay as well from the terrace. We were lucky to have a big terrace - was really gorgeous with a largr space and outdoor furniture. The staff is helpfull and really friendly. We enjoyed the walk downtown to visit St Florent or go to the restaurant but be aware it is approximatively 30 mn walk. The food at restaurant is a really quality.

The parking (place) can be a bit tricky and when you are at the pool ( which is great and well decorated) you can see the parking and cars arriving. Maybe some fews trees/ plants will help but I imagine it is hard.

Breakfast was great with a good selection of food. We regretted not having dinner there because the breakfast was so good. The pool was lovely, the accomodation was perfect, we had a little terrace overlooking the pool and scenery. The staff were friendly and professional, and treated us well. We also loved the decor which was tastefully done and the beds were comfortable. There was even a car park and lifts to the rooms.

That we only had one night to stay there. A little bit out of town of Saint Florent however, we didn’t mind the short drive and it was so serene and quiet.

Hôtel Basgi Basgi is a hotel with a sustainability profile, offering organic products as part of the excellent breakfast. The facilities are wonderful with tasteful materials. The staff was friendly and there is a local beach nearby.

The hotel is located about 30 walking minutes from the centre of Saint-Florent and half the way you can walk along the beach but the remaining part is along a busy road.

We absolutely loved the decor, facilities, attention to detail and the fact that even the smallest room was roomy enough for a family of three. Great closet space, nice bathroom and a super pool area! All the staff were kind and we really wished we could’ve stayed longer. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was very well made with attention to detail. Even their kids menu was gourmand. Pastry chef is amazing and we had a dessert even though we were stuffed. We wish the whole team great success a they deserve it and we hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely stay at Basgi Basgi. It is a beautifully appointed and designed space, the staff were amazing and helped us significantly when we had an issue with our hire car, everywhere is scrupulously clean, the pool area was beautiful and very comfortable, and the food was delicious. Parking was easy at the hotel, and the short walk into Saint-Florent was along the stunning coastline. We really hope to visit again one day.

the hotel and the pool area is really beautiful. loved the concept. The rooms are very nice and it's a really chilled athmosphere.

The breakfast options were considerably simple based on the price and it would be nice to have some more options (barista coffee, fresh juices, omelette, ...) as an add-on as this would suit the hotel well.

Beautiful boutique hotel with nicely decorated, spacy rooms. Very comfortable bed with super clean linen. Very quiet atmosphere around swimming pool. We stayed one night for dinner and it was great surprise. Delicious, creative meal served with usage of local ingredients.

There was no fridge in the room. The hotel is situated outside Saint Florent (around 1.7km) and the road is not that nice to walk to the city.

Location, Pool Area, Campari Orange (thanks!), Staff, Breakfast is outstanding, ventilators, Parking relaxed, new and fancy spot in Saint Florent - money well spent. Very welcoming for babies as well, nice mix of guests. (All nations).
