Great location, big rooms. Everything is super clean, the staff is nice, and the overall environment inside the hotel is very cozy.

The main disappointment was breakfast. Super basic, no hot food like omelets or sausages, just a bit of cheese, boiled eggs (cold), cereal, some low quality croissants. For that price, you can have a much more decent breakfast in any restaurant around the corner.

The Auberge St. Pierre is located in the historic part of Quebec City in the Lower Town, very close to the Place Royale, where Quebec was founded. The building originally housed the first insurance company in Quebec and it's been beautifully restored. I loved staying here. It was so convenient to both the Lower and Upper sections of the old City. The price was very reasonable and the staff were great. I'd stay here again and I recommend it highly..

The thing I didn't like is that during the cold winter when it's snowy and icy, Quebec City doesn't clean its streets and sidewalks, or they didn't when I was there from Dec. 10th to 16th. They simply throw salt on the walks and streets, which never seems to clear them completely unless the weather warms up. This makes walking to all the sights and Christmas Markets a bit precarious. The hotel should clear the sidewalk in front a bit better.

This hotel is so beautiful and comfortable. Very relaxing and calm song were playing while we entered the room. The bed and pillows are very comfortable that we wish could sleep another night. Bathroom is modern design, I love the big shower water and easily turn on hot water that we don't have to wait for long. All toiletries were provided. The location is superb in old Quebec area, really beautiful area. We had a nice drink and food at the restaurant downstairs at the lobby. I can't recommend this place enough, no doubt I would stay again.

We really were happy with the location. Close to the all the shops and restauraunts of Old Quebec City. This hotel is located in the Lower Town. We were within walking distance of the entire city.

I think the shower could've been bigger in our room. I realize most Europeon bathrooms are equipped with small shower stalls, but it could definitely be improved for the comfort of larger people such as my husband. It was a busy weekend. I highly recommend you make reservations for restaurants many weeks ahead, but you will still wait in line even with that security.

A lovely hotel with an excellent location for exploring the old city and convenient for a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. The room was clean and well appointed and we appreciated the little extras such as free coffee in the reception areas and places to sit and relax. However, it is the staff that make this place special. Very welcoming, nothing is any trouble - whether it is advice on where to eat or places to see and things to do they are very happy to help and that creates a wam and friendly atmosphere. We really appreciated all the help that Jimmy, in particular, gave us - he was so accommodating and knowledgable and did everything with a smile on his face. We would certainly come back here if we return to Quebec City.

Very comfortable bed, quiet at night. Free chilled water available 24/7 in communal areas. Plenty of seating in communal areas. Very helpful staff and we made use of the loan bikes to cycle to a nearby beach. Everything in the old town was within very easy walking distance. The associated and attached restaurant ( Il Matto) was very good. We had a superb steak with blue cheese sauce. Better to book as they were always busy.

Limited clothing storage facilities in the room. Buffet breakfast available for CAD27. Can’t eat enough food to justify the cost, so we went out to a nearby cafe for breakfast. The only bar is situated in the middle of the restaurant. We would have liked to be able to sit at a bar and have a drink, but the bar stools in the restaurant were set up for diners, so it was a bit strange to order a drink amongst diners to then pay and walk back into the hotel to find somewhere to sit and drink it.

A unique and interesting building with lots of quiet common areas. We found out that this building was originally a bank, as were most of the buildings on this street, and the interior is so unique, retaining a lot of the historic elements. It’s a great location—right across from the Museum of Civilization and a short walk to the waterfront. While the rooms themselves are a little tight, it didn’t matter to us as we frequently used the common areas as a space to read or play games in our down time. While we did not eat the breakfast there, it did look very good.

The water pressure in the shower is not great, but that’s not unusual for an old building.

Auberge Saint Pierre in Old Quebec City is an absolute gem. Perfectly situated in the heart of Old Quebec, its location is ideal for exploring the charming streets and historic sites. Our room and bathroom were impeccably clean and exceptionally comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The decor of the hotel is enchanting, blending modern amenities with classic charm. The staff at Auberge Saint Pierre is truly outstanding, especially Gabriel and Pierre Antoine. Their friendliness and excellent suggestions for restaurants, shops, and visiting the vineyards and shops on Ile d’Orleans made our stay even more enjoyable. The onsite valet service was incredibly convenient and easy to use, adding to the seamless experience. We also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel's Italian restaurant, Matto. The food was delicious, and Theo's attentive service made our dinner truly fabulous. We will definitely be returning to Auberge Saint Pierre. It was an unforgettable stay, thanks to the exceptional location, accommodations, and staff. Highly recommended!

Auberge St Pierre was perfect for our needs! Nice and efficient staff. Smooth check in and check out. Our room was quiet and comfortable. With complete amenities. Clean. Hot drinks available 24hours in our room and on the ground floor was a welcome treat each time we came back from the freezing cold! The fresh oranges in the lobby as well. The hotel is located near all the attractions of Old Quebec. Walking distance but not in a crowded area. One of the 2 elevators of the hotel was out of service due to maintenance but it in no way caused any inconvenience.

Breakfast could be improved by adding some hot dishes.

The room, with its beautiful old hardwood floors, brick and plaster walls, perfect armoire, and big beautiful window was better than I had expected. The pillows were perfect and all the bedding very comfortable. I loved the coat hooks, the boot tray, and the brick ledge where I stored my hiking gear. I loved the radiator too. Excellent accomodation overall.

I was disappointed that the in-room coffee maker used single-use pods. I would rather get coffee downstairs than use the pods, but that didn't work with my morning timing. Also one of the sheer cutains was missing, which was out of sync with the rest of the clean, well cared-for space.
