There is customer service and then there is Philipino customer service which is on a whole other level. The staff at Ohana treated my family soo wonderfully, I cannot reccomend this place highly enough. We are a family with young kids who love exploring countries and places. Ohana is located minutes from the airport in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel arranged pick up which was on time. The room and bathroom are generously sized with a powerful air condition. They offer tours and meals. We like to have a flexible itinerary especially with kids so we did not do set group tours rather we opted for a driver that would tailor an itinerary to our likeness and it could be private and go at our pace. Alona beach is about 7 minutes away and Ohana have a shuttle that takes you to and from. Alona is a very busy and vibesy area with loads of restaurants, supermarkets and atms etc. There is a an atm located just at the end of the road from Ohana. I have to admit Alona never interested me, instead I found Ohana an excellent base for really exploring the island. We were there 3 days. We visited twin falls and dam agan falls the first day. Beautiful drive in lush countryside. Both falls easily accessible with young children and 2 guides who played with them. 2nd day we visited Anda, Candijay and the Can Unmantad waterfalls and rice terraces. Although about 2 to 3 hours driving, it was extremely scenic and we stopped off at little bakeries and coffee shops along the way. Last day we did the famous chocolate hills on atv, visited the tarsiers, loboc small boat tour. Every single activity loved by the kids. They could not wait to return to Ohana to get in the pool though. We only had dinner one day at Ohana as every day the kids wanted Jolibees which was in Alona main town. The food at Ohana was extremely good, hot fresh and very tasty. Breakfast was not included as part of the room booking but again it was available if you wanted to purchase.

We only stayed for 1 night before a flight to Manila and wished we could have stayed longer! Situated off the main road, this hotel is so tranquil and relaxing. The pool is so clean and big. Room was incredibly clean and has the best working shower we’ve had in the Philippines! Water pressure and hot water was perfect. There’s only 11 rooms so the resort felt really quiet and cosy which we loved. Food in restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Wi-Fi was great. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Daniel who was so friendly and we enjoyed chatting to him. Thanks so much for having us! Overall a fantastic hotel to situate yourself when visiting Bohol.

Very nice hotel in a calm neighbourhood, but just a 5 minute ride with the shuttle to Alona Beach. Also walkable in about 20 to 25 minutes. Very clean and comfortable room, nice big pool. Extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good and freshly made food in the restaurant (especially the Cordon Bleu ;-)). Definitely a recommendation! I absolutely enjoyed my stay!

Ohana Panglao is a very relaxing place to stay. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for a safe, clean, homey vibe accommodation. The staff are friendly and were very nice, plus points when they resolved our concern about the door knob — they fixed it right away! 👍 The pool?? Me and my pamangkin looooved our night swim! We never thought that you have this temp-controlled pool, the warm water made us feel soo relaxed after a long tiring day of exploring places in Alona. ☺️ They have everything you need — good breakfast, nice pool, a clean room with comfortable beds, and a secured spot, away from the busy area of Alona. Plus, highly recommended for their affordability! We loved our stay! Highly recommended. 👌

Our stay at Ohana resort was really good. We spent 3 days in bohol to visit some sites and ohana was the best stay for our needs . You have everything you need in a small place . Beautiful pool and garden, room are basic but really comfy. The bathroom was really spacious and the room was facing the swimming pool with a small terrace. Was lovely waking up there in the morning. The staff was always so attentive and ready to help. The hotel is 5 to 10 min drive to the beach but they have free shuttle which was super convenient :) Note: A big, massive, huge thank you to the receptionist Karen … our ferry was cancelled the night before and she went above and beyond to help us with new tickets and new transport, in order to don’t miss our connecting flight . I was very worried that my whole trip would have been a nightmare but thanks to Karen everything went smooth and end up in the best way possible. She calmed me down and make sure everything was done for us. People like her in the world are gems to be find . She deserve a promotion because her kindness and attention to the customer is unique. Thank you so much to all the staff as well for make our days so special .

Loved this hotel! All the plants make it look really beautiful and the dining and lobby area is very nice and relaxing. Even though it's not walking distance to Alona Beach, the free shuttle makes it very easy to get there. We never had to wait long—probably because the hotel is small, so there aren’t too many guests and the staff can organize transfers quickly. They even picked us up from our previous hotel in Alona when we checked in, which was really helpful. The pool is great, with comfortable sun chairs to relax on. We also had the best coffee of our whole trip here! The food was nice too—we had breakfast on our last morning & tried the smoothie bowl (pictured) & it was delicious. The room and bathroom were stylish, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

I don’t usually write reviews but this facility captivated my attention and inspired me to Leave an indelible mark to encourage other to come witness with their own eyes. The staff is warm welcoming always available to attend to your needs.There were varieties of food, the breakfast was great, this place is a hidden gem , very quiet and pleasant, i believe is brand new and don’t be surprised that in the future it will cost more to stay here. not far from Alona beach and the main road. The even provide a shuttle at a minimal price when your destination is away from their range of work.

As every place there is always room to grow. In term of entertainment in the room i wish i could have more TV channels that’s about it.

From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by how stunning the hotel was. The property itself is a true gem, and the kindness of the staff made it even more memorable. They greeted us warmly, helped us with our luggage, and encouraging us to reach out if we needed anything during our stay The outdoor area is a highlight, with the pool perfectly positioned in the center of the rooms. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, the setting exudes a relaxing holiday vibe. The rooms were equally impressive, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious bathroom was a particularly pleasant surprise, as it’s often hard to find such ample space in the Philippines. Getting to and from town was a breeze with the convenient shuttle service. For international visitors, I highly recommend downloading WhatsApp to easily coordinate pick-ups with the staff. Ate Karen took great care of us, and her attention to detail really made our stay extra special. Our favourite moments were talking to the staff at dinner time and getting to know them. They are all so lovely! The food was fantastic—delicious and reasonably priced. We found ourselves dining at the hotel most of the time, especially enjoying a burger and a mango shake by the pool. The place looks equally beautiful at night, with fairy lights twinkling around the pool, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Bohol, and I’ll be recommending this resort to my family and friends. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip to Bohol so memorable!

Overall the best hotel we had in the Philippines. First thing I'd like to mention is the staff who were so kind and accommodating making us feel at home. The rooms are spacious and clean. The well tended garden creates a very cozy feeling in the quiet evenings. The pool was clean and a great addition when you wanted to relax. The restaurant has a small menu but everything was nice and reasonably priced. You're a short tuc tuc or motorbike ride from Alona and the main beaches. They also provide a shuttle service.

The pool was incredible. So clean and a great size. The food at the hotel was also reasonably priced and delicious. We are here a lot- it was better priced than a lot of the options in Alona Beach. The free shuttle to the beach was also great as the resort is a little out of town. The staff were great. They arranged transportation whenever we needed it. The hotel was super clean and we just felt so relaxed staying here.

Not a negative but just good to know. When paying your room tab at the end of your stay the hotel doesn’t take card. Not a problem as there is a cash point at the end of the road (3 min walk), but we only discovered this upon check out and had to rush.
