Beach. Staff. Breakfast is great and has many food selection and varies everyday. Rooms by the beach are very nice. Spa by the beach. Airport shuttle for group of families.

The resort is open for day tour guests, which is very disappointing. There should be a special area for day tour guests (sometimes come as a big group) as they stay the whole day and occupy the nicest spots to enjoy and relax by the beach, and affects privacy of in house guests.

Oceanica resort is truly a tropical paradise. The staff is amazing - everyone was very nice and assisted us with any questions, helped us organize transfers, tours, etc. Our beachfront room was very comfortable. It was cleaned well every day. Breakfast and the restaurant menu were good too. And of course the beach is wonderful. If you want to have a peaceful and relaxing time at the beach or at the pool and pool bar, it's better to use a more tranquil East wing of the resort (poolside rooms and the larger premium beachfront rooms are located there), as the day walk-in guests are not allowed in that part of the resort. Also the best snorkeling spots are closest to the East wing.

we notice that they allow outsiders to just come & go specially foreigners that makes it crowded during daytime & occupying the areas that were suppose to be for the legit guests of the resort. food & drinks are a bit expensive

love that you have access to 2 pools, and the whole property is nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. There are ramps for PWDs and the property is very PWD-friendly. We love that there's free access to south farm and you can also rent a paddle/kayak board for free. There's also a recreation center which my friend and I enjoyed playing at. Gym is available 24 hours - sad I wasn't able to use it though! Love that happy hour starts at 7am! lol

Check in is at 3pm.. All hotels I've stayed at always had a 2pm check in and when we asked the staff, they just said, it is what it is... Food was a bit pricey and you can find cheaper options outside the hotel.

The resort is great and I would stay again. It is literally on the beach and walking out from our room we were straight on the beach. The vibe was terrific - nicely relaxed. The staff were very helpful. Our room was great - large, clean and comfortable. We had massages and they occur outside under the trees by the beach which was so lovely and relaxing. My husband needs to be gluten free and the resort could not do enough for him in providing whatever he wanted to eat. Plus there was beer he could drink in the evening. And we loved the pizzas too. The beach was great - white sands and plenty of space to lie on sun loungers. All in all, a terrific experience.

The food choices were a bit limited for evening meals and the breakfasts often ran out of the food we might have wanted. Also, just to be aware that there are day trippers which is absolutely not a problem, just a fact!

This resort is heavenly.....large, luxurious and very likable. The rooms were capacious and clean--mine had a ginormous comfy bed. Even though the sea view rooms were not actually steps from the water it was more private being back a bit and the sea view from the room was just marvelous. On the nice little terrace there was a chair, side table and a bean bag chair which we dragged down to the edge of the trees on the gorgeous beach (and returned !). Flip-flops, palm leaf tote bag, plush toy, peanut kisses, and bottle of wine were complimentary in my room. Although there was a wedding on the beach the first night, there was a notification in the room and the celebration stopped promptly at 22:00. The breakfast buffet was incredible and served in the open air building in front of the day-access pool with a sea view. Incredible choices available to suit every palate. A lot of the produce comes from South Farms which you can grab the free shuttle to visit. My two teenage grandchildren loved our visit there. They caught my fish which was grilled and ready for our lunch for a small fee. Food at the restaurant in the resort was a bit pricey so we walked down the beach several nights for dinner or took the very cheap (3€) tuktuk (which you can order easily from the front of the resort) to Alona beach which was heaving with people Great dinner at Gerry's ! There are two pools; one is available also for day access guests with bar/restaurant and sun loungers and chairs The other pool is for resort guests only with bar/food, sun loungers, chairs and tables. More people in the late afternoon Service was quick and staff friendly. Occasionally dishes and glasses were not cleared away from departed customers but was quickly resolved. Security staff were very friendly and conscientious about keeping day guests or passing beach goers in designated areas. Massages with sea view----marvelous !!!!

Almost nothing ! No mosquito problems-use bug spray. Use pool bar during day as other bar area can be overwhelmed.

We stayed at Panglao Villa Room 400. It had a living room, kitchen, and dining room. The location which faces the beach front and the spacious Villa were great. Also, the private jacuzzi was an added feature.

The constant foot traffic of the beach goers going to the patio while we are in the living room, taking selfies was a nuisance. Furthermore, the outside furniture that were reserved for our room was also being used by the passersby and when security is available then they are told to leave-it was a sight to see especially when some refuse to move. On our third day, a male staff by the entrance stopped us and asked which room are we staying…funny thing is that this should be addressed on the first day!

We loved our stay in Oceanica Resort this past week. I was meeting a friend in Bohol who had a few days of vacation time after her work and we wanted to catch up. The relaxing resort grounds were perfect for this plus the beautiful long beach is also a plus. We walked every day we were there in the afternoon to sunset. At low tide, we could see the unique terrain of the sea floor, the small mounds of sand with sea grass appeared just like magic. We walked out there and found a few locals collecting sea urchins that get stuck in the small pools of water. It was interesting! And during high tide, it's all submerged under water and you can just see the different layers of green water showing the shallow and deeper areas. The beach had plenty of sun beds and hammocks for all the guests wanting to enjoy the shore. And you can see the staff cleaning the beach area. Security personnel were around especially making sure everyone was safe. The facilities were also very good. They had an airconditioned lounge to wait in if you arrive earlier than check in time and provided a welcome weaved leaf necklace and welcome drinks. The rooms were large and clean, we got a twin room with a view of the pool, poolside bar and garden. Despite it being near the pool, it was a good balance of quiet and some activity. The bathroom was clean, water pressure and temperature were perfect, very nice shampoo conditioner and body soap provided in refillable bottles, and they provided clean towels each day. They also provided two half-liter water bottles each day but we can also ask for more any time. Electric kettle was provided with some coffee and tea, and a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast had a good selection of local and international food and the food was delicious. They also gave us a big serving for the takeaway box complete with coffee and fruits, on the morning when we had an early activity. The staff were very courteous and friendly and explained everything in...

I like that they use sustainable reusable bottles that are sealed every time they refill them. But, the bottles were very hard to open, maybe the hotel mgmt can find better lids. They just have one menu for lunch and dinner, some items a bit pricey but the food was good anyway. The dining hall is not airconditioned but we had a pretty breezy few days there so it was comfortable but I can imagine the heat during the summer.

The room was excellent and very clean. My kids really enjoyed the beach, which was also well-maintained and pleasantly uncrowded.

When we arrived, early check-in was not allowed, and there was no air-conditioned waiting area, which made it uncomfortable due to the heat outside. I did notice some foreign guests being checked in early without any issue - hopefully, this was just a coincidence and not a matter of prioritizing foreigners over local guests, especially since we also paid for our room. Also, the package tours offered by the hotel were a bit overpriced compared to other booking options available elsewhere but I guess this is understandable.
