I ended up in hospital and staff had cleaned my room. When the hospital kept my passport and bankcard as collateral for not paying the medical bill, the staff were on hand (with my sister's guidance) to help with easy communication between the Australian Embassy and the hospital by way of phone contact between the two as my two mobile phones weren't working. They also checked on me when I was sitting in the restaurant as I was not well and when I found it difficult to walk due to a medical condition I came down with. I can't thank the staff enough and if I won the lottery I would make sure they would be looked after for their lifetime for what they did for me. I would love to come back.

I have recently stayed with my partner at Ecostay Resort Panglao and we immediately felt at home by the genuine hospitality. All staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel offers services to organise various private tours for a decent price all across Panglao and Bohol. The Chocolate Hills are a must-see! The room was spacious with a perfectly functioning AC. Special shoutout for Nica and Shilow for the consistent care and attention during our stay. We are excited to return to this property and would absolutely recommend this for visiting tourists in Panglao!

While our stay was generally pleasant, I believe there’s room for improvement. The toilet could have been designed more thoughtfully for better comfort, and the towels, unfortunately, didn’t absorb as well as we would have expected. Also, the shower holder was unmounted, which required us to hold the shower head during use.

Ths staff is very accomodating and always ready to help. Especially Ate Jelai The food in their resto is highly commendable also..

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The house is cozy, the internet is good for work, although sometimes slow. i liked the location, down the road in 15 minutes walk there is a great beach. The restaurant is suitable for vegetarians, a large selection of dishes, and they cook very tasty! And the best part of my stay was the massage, it was incredible!

Tuk-Tuk to the Tagbilaran port cost for my 450 piso, I think it’s expensive

We stayed here for maybe five days. They had problem with our booking but the staff sorted it out fairly quickly then we changed rooms. Which was nice because then we had much of space. The place itself is ok. Like everywhere in the Philippines, very expensive but not a lot in return. Shower was decent and with hot water (super rare in this country). They have a little pool. The restaurant is pretty ok too. They also rent motorbikes and do laundry (but they shrunk my husband’s t shirts). It was overall a pleasant experience.

We liked all the people who worked at Ecostay accommodation so much. They were very friendly with us, like a big happy family. The place of accommodation is near the airport, beach and other restaurants, but we preferred the Restaurant Flaming Bistro&Bar (it's the accommodation's restaurant). The food was delicious and very addictive (you should try dynamite chilly peppers).

Our only regret was that we didn't discover this wonderful place earlier and didn't have time to stay there longer.

I appreciated the reception at the front desk, the consideration of my special requests, and the reservation of transport. I only stayed one night before my departure. The resort is close to the airport, close to the beaches, it is pleasant and clean. All the staff were very pleasant and attentive.

The aisle is not convenient for rolling luggage. It's better to bring bags to carry.

We had a fantastic stay here! The staff was extremely helpful and the resort felt very genuine and welcoming. We had breakfast everyday in the restaurant which was great with home-made smothies and we also had a great dinner in the restaurant, the massage provided in the resort is also very much recommended!

Location is a bit off but I would say that it is preferable, Alona felt quite crowded and it was easy to get to Alona from the hotel due to their cheap shuttle services. The beaches that are nearby (walking distance or shuttle bus) are absolutely stunning and there is also a lot of good restaurants nearby.

Ecostay panglao was the best choice in panglao- great little resort away from the main road but close to the nicest beach of south palms hotel. Rooms very cosy and clean, scooter can be rented and massage is available on site. You can reach alona beach with restaurants and nightlife within 5-10 min or take a Tuctuc for 150 pesos. There is a mini swimming pool to chill in and a very nice restaurants with reasonable prices. There is no better choice when it comes to book good value for money in panglao. Staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. I will come again for sure. Thanks 🙏 for letting me enjoy your beautiful island in such Anil unforgettable way…

The resort is in a lively country area a little back from the main road - you do hear music, karaoke and party sounds from a distance in the evening time and a few roosters 🐓 early in the morning. If you have a very light sleep or are sound sensitive you should know this but it didn’t disturb me at all.
