Nice pool area and big spacious room

A bit far out but nothing too bad if you have a scooter. You have to leave a form of ID when renting a scooter from the hostel. When returning the bike they forgot to give us back the ID. We forgot to claim it back as well but do feel the Hostel should be responsible for this. We had already left the island when we realised and now we are finished our trip without the ID. The hostel has tried to return it to be fair to them, but it seems it has been lost in transit as it’s been 6 weeks and we still haven’t received it. We now have to pay for a new ID. Not ideal.

Great facilities, dorm rooms/beds, employees, and vibe/atmospere!.. Motorbike rental available for normal rate, Alona beach/scene reachable few minutes by tuk-tuk, with the quiter beaches reachable few minutes by foot. Highly recommend!

The room space is nice, it’s a quiet place so u can easily rest. For some reason the swimming pool was warm at night so I loved that!

It was a long stay so my husband wanted a TV in the room

Amazing place - hot water in the shower, great common area, big beautiful rooms.

Pool was lovely Bedroom was perfect had curtains and plugs on the bed and was very clean Staff were very helpful Had washing done and it was efficient

Showers were cold

Nice room and swimming pool. Staff was very nice! Not far from a beach with local people. I have appreciated to be outside of the more touristy area of alona beach.

I would have like to get a separation between shower and toilet that the whole bathroom doesn't get wet after using the shower. Very loud karaoke in the back (from neighbourhood) during the day (not at night)

The room is spacious, modern and comfy. The facilities are quite new. There is a very good supermarket 5 minutes away and the beach is a relaxing 10-min stroll away. Staff were nice and helpful. The hotel was quiet amd peaceful - it didn't feel like a youth hostel- so it was a relaxing place to chill by the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay here!! There is definitely more of a hotel than a hostel feel to Red Picnic. The hostel is very calm and quiet with a lovely swimming pool and surrounding areas of trees/green. There is a restaurant on site which served good food and was handy to have as there isn’t much in walking distance, however there are lots of good food options in Alona just a 10 minute drive away! You could also walk down to the beach nice and easy in under 15 minutes! We really enjoyed our stay here, it was away from the busy area of Alona, however close enough that we could still enjoy the liveliness if we wanted too. All the staff was helpful and friendly too!

Restaurant was a little expensive for what you got.

The property was clean and it has a nice pool

The receptionist was very kind and always available to answer my questions. The pool is clean with a green area around; the place is for relaxing. The beds are comfortable. I enjoy this place.

Sometimes the hostel is used for events, and the music is too loud.
