Well managed, the owners are very helpful. Our bag got (very) delayed and was finally delivered ~5am on the day that we needed the dive equipment inside. We were also unsure about the 2nd half of the trip because we haven’t dove as much. The owners are very accommodating and have many useful information and recommendations. We loved the dog too. Thank you!

Our shower head was a bit low pressure. The owner helped us change the shower head right away. Perhaps need to use some vinegar to remove the timescale build up over time

Super friendly and helpful hosts that make you feel welcome. We rented a scooter from them (you won’t get a better price) and explored the island a bit. Definitely recommend getting a scooter to visit the beaches around. It’s a 7 min drive to Alona but that town is madness so we were happy to be a bit away. Also it’s only a 3 min drive to the most beautiful beach on the island (Dumaluan). Overall the place is simple but a good base to explore

It was a bit noisy around, especially the first night we slept there, better being earplugs. The pool area didn’t feel too inviting but then again we anyways always went to the beach :)

Beautiful hotel with an incredibly kind owner who helped with all of my plans, arranging transport, etc. The rooms are really big, clean and comfortable. The pool is fantastic and great to relax around. I ended up staying here longer than planned as I didn't want to leave! The location is 10/15 min ride to Alona Beach but only a 15 minute walk to White Beach which is nice for swimming. Very peaceful area if you want to stay somewhere nice and relaxing, a bit away from Alona.

The owners are so lovely. My husband had food poisoning from the airport food & the owner was so kind and caring. Wanted to make sure he was ok and looked after/comfortable. This place is the cleanest place we have stayed in our 3weeks in the Philippines! Has everything you need & a great deep pool. Toto is the cutest lil fluffy dog - must pat! We had the American breakfast each morning and it was perfect. They can help with toktoks, scooter hire and more, just ask! Would 💯 recommend and stay again! Thank you so much for having us!

The host was excellent - super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The apartment was very spacious and clean. We had a small issue with the power for the shower and the host quickly came and sorted the problem for us. He also arranged some day trips for us and tricycles into the main resort when we needed them. There were a couple of restaurants a few minutes walk away, we didn't get a chance to try the vegetarian one but the shawarma one was great!

The location was a 10 minute tricycle from Alona beach, I definitely recommend hiring a motorcycle to get out and about as you sometimes have to wait a little while to find a tricycle.

If you're looking for a high end resort, this is of course not the place but if you're looking for a cozy, friendly and clean place to relax, this is the one! The hosts were so lovely and helpful. The room is spotless clean and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was simple but fulfilled our needs and there's a water fountain to refill bottles anytime. We didn't get to use the pool but it was really clean and looked nice. After checking out, we came back to pick up our luggage but arrived earlier than expected but they allowed us to just chill at Villa Del Oz until our driver came to pick us up.

The only improvement I'd say is having a better hairdryer but that's more just a personal preference.

Villa del Oz is run by two very kind hosts! The Villa really does feel like a villa and is located at approx 10 min drive from Alona. The room was very clean, spacious and we enjoyed the balcony. The bed was large and comfortable. There is an outside lobby under a roof with free drinking water, a nice place to sit and relax, snack and drink, and have breakfast. We enjoyed the Korean ramyun breakfast !! The swimming pool is absolutely clean, the owners are very keen on cleaning it with the least chemicals as possible. It had no smell and the water looks crystal clear, we enjoyed it every morning and during our whole stay. Renting the scooter was no problem at all! To sum up; we loved our stay and enjoyed your company! Thank you !

Thanks to Eugene and Grace for such a fantastic experience, making us feel very welcome! Also helping to organise some things we needed like scooter and trike to pier. Lovely clean space, feels really private and tucked away from main road. Swimming pool really nice touch. Water pressure best we’ve had in Philippines.

Not much but to pick a couple of things out for some improvement: - Wi-Fi came and went intermittently - Depository bin in toilet wasn’t changed during our stay - Bed mattress not the most comfortable

Clean rooms with plenty of space, nice pool. The staff were amazing and helped us organise everything from transport into the town to our excursions and boat trips. Cute dog Toto was a bonus!

Beds a little hard for our liking and not enough pillows. A little far from restaurants, beaches etc but no problem if you hire a scooter.

The hosts were super nice and arranged many things (tricycle from the airport, scooter rental, massage). Good quality / price. The place is lovely. The room is clean. Great location, you can go by foot to white beach. The dog Toto is cute.
