We chose GLK among other hotels in Wanchai as excellent reviews were given about the size of the rooms. Having stayed there, it was comparable to other hotels with lesser price. Room was big enough, toilet was excellently clean - love it! Staff - all professionally dressed daily, a bit dated - though reminds me of old HK service. Location - excellent! Deep in the heart of Wanchai, near everywhere we needed to go to - offices, shops, bars/restos, mtr/bus stations.

Toilet - on the first day, we had to ask Receptions to have the shower curtains changed as it smelled strongly musty. Also, immediately after entering the room, it smelled a bit musty probably from the carpeting. Staff - robotic. Also, could learn to speak English better. Room decor - dated, colour too dark

I liked that the hotel managed to meet my requests for our room. Location of the hotel was good, with many food & beverages choices all round the hotel. It was also a pleasant walk to the MTR station to connect us to many places in Hong Kong. The bed was comfortable and the shower was sufficient. I also liked the good range of toiletries they provided. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Whenever I approached them with a question or a request they made me feel that they were happy to help. It was good to rediscover a recognised & reputable Hong Kong hotel and I'll definitely be back to stay when I next visit Hong Kong.

Fast reply for inquiries Smoothly check in. Attitude of staff at front, so nice! The room is spacious with having bath tube at King’s bed room. Location is very convenient, there are starback’s, pacific cafe, Pret and M&S within 1,2 mints by one line. Bus stops toward for Central just in front and MTR Wanchai station also very close.

Nothing at all for us. Luk kuk Hotel is very traditional Hotel beside at Gloucester Road. The style is bit old but you can stay at enough space, especially for our age(over 50), TV also easy to control make me feel rather familiar and no stress than new stylish Hotel.

This is one of the best hotels. It is beautiful and have nice facilities. The room is spacious, city view is good from the 23rd floor. They offer several things in your room. I didn't try the restaurant but I am sure it is also outstanding like the overall hotel experience. Friendly staff, good operational management. When you are out of the hotel there are several bars to hang on. I especially liked Amazonia Bar where you can enjoy old school rock. I will definitely prefer Gloucester Luk Kwon when I came back. I have added the view from 23rd floor windows. There are no nearby buildings. The room photos are already presented in the Hotel page.

There should be dumbbells in fitness center.

Exceeded expectations! Room and bathroom were very spacious. Bed was comfortable and blanket was thick enough to keep us warm. Towels and linen were clean and there was good ventilation in the toilet. Facilities were well maintained. Water pressure from the showerhead was great and easily adjustable. There were also 2 sofa chairs near the window which were comfy and made it perfect for chilling after a long day out. Staff were approachable and friendly. They gave us detailed directions when asked. Location of the hotel was also fantastic. Less than 5mins walking distance to exit A1 of Wan Chai station, sufficient food and convenience stores nearby, and there is a bus stop (abt 3mins walking distance) with bus A11 to go to the airport.

Only 1 pillow per bed but i believe they can provide extra upon request. There was a deposit of HKD500 per night (cash or credit card - need physical card), which we thought was a lot and unexpected. Refund will take place after check out, if pay by card, within next 7 days as shared by hotel staff.

The location is very convenient, close to MTR station with a lot of local restaurants nearby and walkable distance to the harbor. The staffs are very friendly and professional. As a hotel in Hotel, the space of the room is decent.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. It was on the small side but I didn't mind as it was just me, if It were with my family then it would be small. I loved my room because it had everything I needed without having to call housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable and all the little details that a traveller needs are provided, especially the coffee and tea part. I always wanted to have tea or coffee when I get to any hotel room. Overall the room was brilliant.

The reception could be a bit friendlier. They are polite but don't have that welcoming feeling. Although the men from the concierge who helped me was very polite and nice. The room TV could do with more English channels.

Comfortable linen, great location, helpful staff, good value for money.

The hotel is the perfect location if you need to visit the immigration tower as it is just across the road. It is also only 5 mins walk to Wan Chai station. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars around the area and areas like Central and Causeway Bay are also walkable (20 mins). The room is clean and comfortable, but it is not that big, just enough for two people, any more than that would be a tight. The bonus is that A11 bus stop from the Airport is only a short walk away and that there is a Marks & Spencer store around the corner!

The staff could do with some training to be more friendlier and attentive. Quite often they just stand around chatting rather than attending to guests as they walk into the foyer. Things like opening the heavy doors for guests or a smile would make a difference.
