Beautiful location, well appointed and clean chalets.

The hotel markets the facilities such as the driving range and tennis courts, but in truth these facilities have seen better days. Management should invest in bringing these facilities up to standard. Other than that the stay was lovely.

The place is so beautiful and very clean.The views are breath taking.If you want peace and tranquil,that is the place to go to.The staff is very friendly and helpful.We were staying in a chalet, which was kept very clean,always had hot water.The chalet has a fire place and they had fire wood for cold days,they replace the fire lighter on a daily basis.The garden is well maintained.The reception area is huge,with a big sitting area and a library.They also have a pool table .They have a spa in the premises and the prices were reasonable.The maintenance guys also washed our car for us prior to our departure.On our last day we had an issue with the car and they were so helpful and patient with us.I will definitely visit the place again.

The is no wifi,if you want to access wifi you have to go to reception.They have a golf range that is a bit far from reception,we had to walk and it was hot.There is no shade at the golf range so if you are not playing you stand in the sun,there is also no toilet near so we had to use the one at reception which was a bit far away and come back.They also have only one swimming pool which is a bit small for the place.

The room was very clean In particular, the bedding and towels. The room is family-friendly and very Cosy-reminded me of a perfect winter holiday setup. It had everything that was needed. Overall, I can't fault the estate nor the chalet. I would give it a 10 out of 10. The hotel accommodated us with a last-minute booking. Priscilla at reception was fantastic. The Chef went out of his way to assist us as we got stuck and he helped us out. Overall the staff is very accommodating, helpful and friendly.

The road towards the estate was a bit of a challenge, but we can't fault the estate as it's a municipal road that has not been tarred. A couple of cars got stucked on this particular stretch of road including myself, due to the rain causing a lot of mud.

The estate ground, the 'grandness' of the place, gave a historic, romantic vibe.The space and privacy of the chalet. Plenty of room to explore. Mini golf course. The service and hospitality of the staff.

The chalet was cold, the instructions for lighting the fire weren't relevant and we had to ask for wood - we received a small bundle and were told we would have to pay for more. Only 2 of 4 beds had electric blankets and of these, only 1 blanket had a plug adaptor to enable use! Thin, low quality blankets (polyester) supplied didn't make the grade. Paying for the mini golf club hire. Finding the pool table, dart board and table tennis table as we were about the leave! ( and therefore couldn't enjoy)

The location is well placed between Jo burg and the Kruger National Park. There are outstanding views from the hill top location. Do not be put off by the 10 kilometres of unmade road to access. It's worth the effort. Dinner was good however the menu was limited although there was a good selection of wines. Our room was stunning and very spacious. Breakfast was excellent. The services offered in the spar were excellent and good value.

Some of the staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful but some were completely clueless. The staff administering the advertised leisure facilities (driving range, archery & shooting) had no knowledge about them or any interest in their upkeep. Cocktails were advertised in the bar however the staff didn't know how to make them. The pool was unusable because no one had cleaned it for some time.

I loved the sceneries,the food at the restaurant was excellent,the chalets are spacious and well equipped and serviced daily. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Load shedding started on our first day and continued throughout our stay,surely a huge company like Gooderson Leisure can invest in solar? The windows at the chalets also need maintenance as we had to push them closed from outside

Perfect location with beatuiful views and ambiance. Very relaxing and the self-catering suites are well equipped although loadshedding and powerfailures are a challenge.

The dinner menu and quality of the food is definitely not what it used to be. It doesn't seem as if there is any maintenance done at the distant trout dams. The roads are barely recognizeable.

The staff was impeccable, very friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed on valentines and my purpose was for a proposal, the staff did everything to make it as romantic as possible. Roses, rose pedals on the bed, private dining room. Location beautiful. Food was excellent. The sunrise was to die for. Felt extremely safe. We will stay here again, but for much longer next time (only stayed two nights). I could not possibly recommend it enough

The access road can be a little rough, many ruts and potholes. Drive cautiously. But the road to the hotel from the access road was excellent.

This place is an absolute gem💎👌. I loved the fireplace, heaters in the bathrooms and electric blanket. It was very comfortable and cozy for me and my small family. The aesthetics of each and every room and the curtains style of each room just made my heart glad❤️. The food was also delicious👌Had dinner and breakfast at the property's restaurant. Visited the library and I loved every moment. Pictures don't do justice, you have to physically visit this estate.

Absolutely nothing💯

We were in the Self-Catering unit , it is really spacious. There was Load Shedding early morning, and when we left the Hotel offered us a free coffee. We thought it was a very nice suggestion. The place is VERY clean and neat. VERY quiet and restful. We WILL call again and visit again. We had a lovely 2 days. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Just some suggestions - Perhaps consider small Gas stove for cooking water and food. There was a LONG Power outage, and we had no means of making coffee or warm up our food. There were limited bicycles to hire, so we hiked instead. It was a lovely hike with lots of animals to see. The Golf Course was not ready for us to play on. Perhaps consider getting these in order again.
