The breakfast was extraordinary! The house is amazing and the view to the St-Lawrence river is breathtaking. Our hosts Laurent and Quentin were great (we didn't actually talked with Quentin, but tasted his creations...). The house is very well organized with clear rules that set the expectations right. Our stay was a pleasure and we will be sending our family and friends.

The room could be quite warm due to the lack of AC, but a good fan was provided and we slept very well with open windows. Unfortunately the neighbor started cutting a tree with a chainsaw early in the morning, but this is out of control of our hosts.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the water and easy drive to restaurants. The owners are lovely and very thoughtful, and breakfast was great with many homemade options. Don't miss the jam made by Quentin! And, it's an easy drive to the very special gardens called "Quatre Vents".

We booked late and got the top floor room which has slanted ceilings. Not a big problem. And, it was a lovely room with a brand new bathroom which was so clean and well appointed.

Our hosts were wonderful - the owners are lovely, 3 super friendly guys who immigrated from France (their English is also pretty good but we spoke mostly French with them) who made sure we were comfortable. You can tell that they love what they do, and they put a lot of thought into making it a welcoming space. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable, good shower. Bathroom was a bit small but each room has its own, which is nice for a B&B. Decor was vintage rustic chic, but well-maintained, which perfectly matched the stunning old inn built in the late 1800s. Lots of history and character - this area is known for being a place where wealthy Americans and Canadians would spend their summers around that the turn of the century. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had at a B&B! Nice selection, options for people with all kinds of dietary restrictions, and lots of homemade goodies. The area is fantastic - the inn is right on a hill, so the front rooms and front balconies have a beautiful view of the bay. Malbaie is such a nice little town - highly recommend visiting the area (the whole region of Charlevoix is beautiful). I can't say enough good things. We would love to return - it really felt like a perfect little escape.

Everything was as described and so it met our expectations or was better.

This had to be the best Auberge that we have stayed in. The innkeepers were so helpful and accommodating since my wife had some mobility limits. They also were good at making suggestions for activities and giving us good information. The breakfast buffet was a delight each morning. So much of it was homemade including fabulous jams.

Breakfast was exquisite! So many items were homemade, yogurt, bread, jams, etc. It was delicious! They knew it was my birthday and brought me a special hot chocolate with Chantilly cream! 😍 We wish to come back!

We should have stayed longer.

The warm hospitality of the hosts. The nice atmosphere in the common areas. The great breakfasts.

The room was well appointed, the bathroom was renovated and functional. The bed could have been a little more comfortable.

Laurent and Quentin, our hosts, were very hospitable, always smiling, quick to help. They gave a very human touch to our stay. Their homemade food was also delicious.

I truly enjoyed staying here. The building is quite old but they maintain it so well. The bedding and towels are fresh and comfortable. And the breakfast is awesome. The hosts are so kind.

The owners were so nice and attentive. It was beautiful and relaxing. We think it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed
